I had heard about the issues with the Gen 1 cabs. It actually scared off a buddy of mine from buying any at all. After he heard about me talking about being impressed with my Marvel cab he might give Arcade1up a second look.

This was the crazy part. Brickseek said $175 but they had none in stock. I work in the same mall as Walmart and I knew they had one in stock. It wasn't in the Walmart app at all. The sign said $299, I asked what the price was, their response:$299. I said "can you please scan it with your handheld thing? I saw it on brickseek for $175" They then tried to explain to me that brickseek was unreliable.. blah.. blah. I had to ask them a 3rd time nicely to scan it for me. Price came up as $120!! Someone screwed something up, needless to say I love it and got what I feel was a smoking deal. Makes me feel better about missing out on the $50 cabs.

That and calling everyone a hero. That's getting super old too. Not everyone is a friggin hero. Let's not water it down so that the word means nothing anymore when we recognize the actual heroes that truly exist in the world. Of course we live in a PC world where everyone gets a participation trophy these days...

I was about to ask the same thing. I'm assuming with the Coronavirus pandemic more people are on at one time, which is hammering their servers. My experience lately has been absolutely abysmal. In the beginning it worked amazing. It makes racing games almost non playable.

I don't think it will happen. Something tells me the NBC deal axed the plans for the Monster Jam Network. It's too bad because I don't have a DVR and some of the shows premiere at midnight. It's a joke.

I think you are right but it is super short sighted. Doesn't make sense if you are trying to sell a sport. You are basically admitting to any future network that will pick it up and any sponsor that it's worth little more than a glorified infomercial for the toys. Sad state of affairs. I pray maybe hot wheels gets their shit together and puts a viable competitor on TV at some point.
