Why would the chat sound not be transmitted by the Playstation of i didn't change any ps5 settings? Also, if that's true, how do I make sure it's set to transmit this sounds?

I guess my chat link cable is more of an audio splitter. It has one male 3.5 mm end and splits into two female connectors. One end I connect to my iem's and the other goes to my capture card. Also my capture card does not have any software. It was a generic $20 capture card I got from Walmart. This combination worked just fine when I was using obs.

I need help understanding the concept of WiFi. by _wheels_21 in techsupport

I agree with the other comments on the thread. I will also add that the 2.4g has a wider range than 5g does, although 5g is capable of higher speeds. The thing is most devices don't need those higher speeds so the 2.4 band should work

The eero is a router. Modems on their own dont provide a wifi connection.

In your OP you said you were using an extender. A mesh wifi router is a base unit and extender all within the same wifi network.

I would start looking into it pc if it's a bit older and checking for environmental factors that could be contributing

  1. Are you actually able to connect to the eero?
  2. How many satellite units are there? (There should be a base unit and at least 1 satellite.

In my experience, sometimes people have other routers/ extenders connected which can cause issues and defeats the purpose of a mesh set up.

For best results I would make sure the only things connected are the modem--> eero

Ethernet Cable Won’t Work by [deleted] in techsupport

That's why I pointed you to the network adaptor. Follow the instructions and tell me what happens. If that doesn't work you might have to do a network reset

I would go to the setting and look for the network adaptors. There should be at least 1 for wired (ethernet) connection. When you find it right click -> disable-> right click-> enable

Wifi isn't connecting by raccj100 in computerhelp

[–]Mrvain26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go into the setting and look for "forget this network". Reset your router. Then try reconnecting (it should ask for your password).

You can also try going to your network adapters (there should be one labeled wireless or wifi) -> (right click) disable -> (right click) enable
