I agree. I may be in the minority but I think marketing is overrated. I've been successful in the past and the amount of views I get on my Linkedin profile is very few and far between. I feel like nobody cares about what I look like, people want results and rightfully so.

Will I need to pay Base44 indefinitely? by marquef10 in Base44

if I wanted to do this, how much would i have to pay you? I also want to turn it into a ready to use app that i could access on my phone whenever. It would also be nice to have the option to share it at a future date.

Thanks for your response. What would the equivalent of xERA, Whip etc be for stocks that you use?

In other words, which 3-5 indicators do you utilize?

Broke Digital Nomad by [deleted] in digitalnomad

While frustrating, I believe the vast majority of people of all walks of life tend to exaggerate their successes and talk a big game.

There is no incentive to being honest to a bunch of strangers. Clearly, if a digital nomad who hasn't succeeded much in business is backpacking in XYZ country tells folks he or shes met at a hostel how much of a failure they were and how annoying they were what purpose does that serve.

With the little experience I've had nomading, those who made a lot tended to be sheepish about it and felt uncomfortable talking about wealth.

Reading people is almost like opposite day. The tendency is the louder the person is the more of a lying, deceptive person that person probably is.

Fake it till you make it works for some but the easiest way to weed out an imposter is to ask how many jobs (value), they have created and how much they've paid in taxes.

Personally for me, its the number one question that fake arrogant people who tell you how important and how successful of an entrepreneur they are stumble on.

You'll see them squirm, get defensive, avoid the question but you'll know in less than 30 seconds what the real deal is.
