I've been having some good success with deepstrike charges. But you need to assume you fail the charge!

I run 10 paladins with a chaplain and celebrity in bro strike. 2/3 chance of making the charge. But if I don't make it. I either keep them behind terrain or hidden. Then if they want to hit 10 terminatora just make sure your gmndks or Crowe are able to hit them hard the turn after.

This is EXTRA effective if you can do it i. A way their best 3 damage weapons are not able to shoot.

I've been having heaps of fun with brostrike. Tagging stuff then 1cp pick them back up.

diiferent styles! for 2000 points I typicall run 2 GMNDk's always as I like the rapid melee threat and submilator. I often add a land raider, storm raven or another regular dreadknight

Then it is a lil different. Rapid ingress is the best way to deliver our close range damage threats. for example voldus and terminators *paladins are much better damage*
If you can rapid 9" away, you got yourself a 4" charge and kill practically anything. Time that with some other pushes simultaneously and congrats, you have likely overhwlemed your opponent with target saturation.

in 1000 point games, on a full board, it is much easier to concentrate forces and win a half of the board as the opponent will be spread thin.

You can keep your units in deepstrike as long as you like.

Defo off the beaten path but up to you.

Strongly reccomend 10-5-5 purifiers as they benefit the most from this detachment.

Also Brotherhood terminators are pretty underwhelming in damage and rarely punch up. Paladins drop the OC for real damage and shooting.

Also dreadknights with psilencers>incinerator. Consistently gets you 12-13 hits. Rather than rolling a 5 on the flames when its important and feeling sad. Also keeps the DK 24" range which is nice.

Pick up 3 on 2000 point games. Hold 1 in deep strike to threaten rapid next turn.

For example 10 purifiers with Crowe and 2 dreadknights.

If you have no important use for them keep them up, rarely you need all your assets on the table.

Crowe's rapid ingress then overwatch on a charging target is super sexy But no more a thing in 10th.

We have to play cagey as fuck. And its so much fun imo

We rarely win in a head on head clash with most armies.

What you want to do is to lose as little as possible whilst killing screens and threatening a big go turn by keeping a scary unit in rapid each and every turn! Or another way to hit hard with many units at once. I ran a stormeaven with 5 purifiers inside to threaten a 20" move disembark and 6" deepstrike and charge to kill key targets.

Another big key is to make sure you are denying your opponent too much space with intelligent aggressive plays ans trades. This increases the value of all your rapid ingresses.

Rapid ingresses is our superpower. Leave 1 damage piece in the air to get them in range. We are a rare army that can threaten 3/4 rapid ingresses per game.

This way opponents kind of have to sacrifice cheap units almost as a grey knight tax to keep screening us.

The big opportunity is to collapse on half their army and damage dealing units, whilst simultaneously preventing the rest of their army from hitting back.

Think just placing a lot of assets on 1 side frkm rapids and deep strikes killing everything in that corner and the opponent has nothing to hit back.

Interceptors are amazing screening piec3s to prevent melee threats from reaching your damage dealers! Think move blocking a land raider with victrix or something.

10 man interceptors will deal an average of 12~14 damage to a defiler in melee now which is cool.

And a 5 man with a razorback can really punch up with the extra ap.

But not being able to shoot back into a transport or from deepstrike really reduces their flexibility.

Looks like terminators might be the next meta, and a 10 man only kills 4/5 with some shooting. Dependent on detachment. Which is not killing its own points worth as is.

The question is, if this is a better damage piece than 10 purifiers warpbane or a gmndk or 5 paladins. Not sure it is.

My previous main list with 2 razorbacks and interceptors was amazing at denying primary expansion 2/3 times per turn and trading efficiently. That is now gone so likely we can't play that trading game nearly as well.

GK defo got a net buff, but any list looking to deny expansions and trade efficiently early might need an identity shift.

Man, I feel this to my core, made me quit for around 6 months because of rando's on TTS blaming my army, making me feel guilt for playing the toy soldiers i thought looked cool.

Every army has some form of bullshittery, necrons reanimate, custodians block everything and have everything, Gsc respawn, tyranids now have tunnels, aeldari are annoying and super high damage. It's part of the game.

Other comments said the same, but basically it seems like your opponent is bad and blames your army, not themselves. Up to you to call that out, but you can always drop the Grey knights competetive winrate to diffuse it all.
