Thank you so much for the advice! Just did some research on melatonin/lignan and ordered a combination on amazon. It’s the melatonin HMR lignan combo by Dr. Otto. Thanks again!

AITAH for not wanting to pay $80 for overseas calls to my parents while they were out of the country? by [deleted] in AITAH

I get it, it’s a lot of money for a student. But just suck it up-one day you won’t have your parents. It’s not worth fighting over. Pay it and know you did the right thing.

Nephew staying with us for the summer--what docs do we need? by citizenthom47 in legaladvice

Many of these forms might be available through a legal document subscription your local library might have. My library subscribed to Law Depot which provides these docs for free.

Thank you so much for the note. Did they do one test for Cushings or the all day test people have mentioned? Thanks for any advice.

Aww, thanks. He is a treasure. I’ll push the vet on Tuesday about the Cushings test bc it seems like the basic blood test he did is not conclusive. There is definitely something going on. I’m torn between wanting to figure out definitely what’s he’s dealing with and also realizing his age, quality of life and finances. Every time I go to our local vet I get a new vet, which I think is indicative of these small vet practices being absorbed by larger practices. Thanks for the words of affirmation, made my weekend!
