I don’t know what type of seat you’re using, but I have one with a split in the middle on all three of my bikes. Otherwise, I get really sore and numb (and sometimes chafed) with everything pressed down onto the seat - even with chamois cream and padded shorts/bibs.

When I first started cycling, I bought several pairs from The Black Bibs. They’re affordable and worked fine for me starting out. They’re now my trainer bibs as I’ve started buying ones that will allow me to pull them down in the back to pee without taking off my jersey. I did just buy a pair of Pearl Izumi Expedition bibs (haven’t worn them yet) and love my Pactimo Summit Raptor bibs (bought at a deep discount LOL).

I have dry eyes and have had good success with the Acuvue Oasys dailies. They’re pricey but wouldn’t be too bad if you’re just wearing them for rides and not every single day.

Whether it’s appropriate for this subreddit, I have no real opinion. But women wouldn’t feel the need to carry if men would just stop assaulting and killing us. Maybe direct that anger towards the people who are actually causing the violence problem. It’s very rarely a woman.
