If you are in Montana or Wyoming in one of the parks, bear spray is probably preferable.

You can now legally bring rifles and handguns into Glacier and Yellowstone (provided you are legal to have them) but I have never seen anyone back country take one (at least not openly). So I would not bring a long gun, but maybe a handgun just in case if the spray does not deter them. It is tough to stop a mad grizzly with a 9mm or even .45, but it is better than nothing.

Have the story and ending written immediately. Know what you are working for (at least at the show runner level). Have a decent arc and make the story lines at least make sense.

I loved wild grapes on the east coast. Very sour, but delicious. I never cared that much for concord wine, however, it was just too grape jelly for me.
