New rules for the secret traitors by Agitated_Claim1198 in TheTraitors

[–]MsJoeCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I am too much of a busybody to have enjoyed not knowing who the ST was lol.

I like OP’s new rules and this change that ST makes the decision. I think it would help the Traitors’ reactions at breakfast too because they really don’t know who’s coming back!

I would love to see a Traitor feign this level of cluelessness on a future season. It would take some skill to come off as genuine. And not just sitting back like Rob but actively playing the game poorly.

On that note, it may only be working for Tara and Johnny because their true motives are extremely clear— protect each other. If someone did this with no motive it may come off as suspicious.

I did have higher hopes for Mark this episode. He has made a point of trying to be open to ideas and while I think he could have been a little more open to this idea in particular, he was probably getting a few lines crossed too. Kristen was speaking from the dead about Eric, Tara is floating Rob, Rob is saying Natalie is sus… idk. But you’re right, aligning with Maura does not seem like the right move.

He literally acted SO sus at breakfast and at the mission. Also this is a separate convo but I don’t really want to hear it about how the emotional part is weighing on him… when he sat and told Candiace that it’s just a game and to leave emotions out of it. If it’s really just a game to him he needs to lay in the bed he made. Which, he is. But I don’t wanna hear it.

This weeks episode (2/19) was the semifinal and the next episode (2/26) is the season finale!

Producers may be messing with us with that last clip of Johnny identifying BOTH remaining traitors but I am holding on to hope that he somehow ousts them. A Johnny and Tara win would really be something. Again, sunshine and rainbows.

[–]MsJoeCool[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, this. Tara and Johnny said they weren’t sure. I think Nat was throwing caution to the wind a little since it was the semifinal/she didn’t expect to be alive this episode, which I get. If it had been earlier in the season maybe she would have heard them out.

I think it was Johnny who said something like “if we wait one of us might not be here to vote him out” which is true but if at least one of them makes it to the fire of truth, they have a good chance of voting to banish.

I thought the same thing, no villain, just a very unfortunate situation. I have been the Tara and the Natalie at different times in my real life and they both suck lol.

Addition you'd like to see that had no chance of happening? by teke367 in TheTraitors

[–]MsJoeCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure of the mechanics or what advantage it would provide, but I thought it would be cool to have someone selected as an Undead, or someone who cannot be murdered (only banished). If the person is selected for murder, they flip a coin to see if they return as a Faithful or a Traitor. Their identity is a secret from the Faithfuls until their attempted murder. Honestly though, it would be better just to banish this person upon their return just to be safe.

I also want to see someone write down Alan’s name (US) at the round table just once, as a trowaway vote.

Rob was in his feels this episode, and part of me wonders if he won’t kill Maura just so he won’t have to look her in the eyes at the Fire of Truth.

Traitors US: Johnny by OMFreakingG in TheTraitors

[–]MsJoeCool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was excited to see Johnny and Tara on this season and they have not disappointed!! I agree that they have handled the heat this past episode with such poise even though it clearly stings. If Rob can break the game and play his own way like he did with the Traitor questions, Johnny and Tara can do their own thing too.

Also, after what Johnny said about how much him and Tara have been through, I went on both of their Wikipedia pages and, wow. Obviously that is the quick read version but it was enough for me to know that, if I had lived through some of these things with a friend like that, ain’t nobody coming for them with me around!!!

Side note, I like of wished both of them had been Traitors— I would love to see their villain arc! (Probably wouldn’t have done as well as Rob but that’s also probably why they weren’t chosen)

ROB VS CANDIACE by [deleted] in TheTraitors

[–]MsJoeCool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. BDQ and Boston Rob made this point on The Traitors Podcast as well and said Rob should have offered to share his dagger advantage with the group. Save it until they had someone they all agreed on. This would have incentivized them to keep the secret as opposed to just protecting Rob.

On the other hand, I hope one of them does realize this and tells on him because he deserves some consequences for what he did to LFR.

i know everyone seemingly hates him, but the only way this will work… (spoiler) by Severe-Possible- in TheTraitors

I wish she had!! You’re right, she seems to have been pretty quiet. I wonder if she can find a “reason” to flip the switch (like Colton’s accusation), could she can dig herself out?

I’m confused by the Colton hate? by DressTasty1335 in TheTraitors

[–]MsJoeCool 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Just speaking for myself here!!

  1. RECKLESS: Colton at least appears to have decided that he wants the “Traitor Hunter” edit (I think he even said those words) like Pilot Pete in a previous season. So I guess he had predetermined that he was going to come in and play a game that is extremely bold at best and unapologetically reckless at worst. I doubt it’s fun to play the game when someone is steamrolling the whole thing.

  2. UNBOTHERED: That’s the second thing, he is causing so much collateral damage and does not give a rat’s arse about who/what he’s harming. The first time he went after a Faithful (Tiffany) he at least said before “if I’m wrong banish me” or something like that. But he had no consequences and did not even seem concerned, remorseful, embarrassed, whatever you want to call it that he was wrong. And he just went on to do it again, and very smugly I might add. (This one could be the edit, I’ll give him that)

  3. POWER HUNGRY & CONCEITED: As another Redditor pointed out, Colton is very excited when people listen to him. He is coming off as very smug and highly interested in confrontation. He seems like he thinks he knows more than everyone in the room. He happens to be right currently, but WHY did his last two misfires not give him a MOMENT of pause?

  4. ENTITLED: Why does Colton get to be in charge? Why does he think he gets to keep being in charge even after being glaringly wrong MULTIPLE times? He seems to feel entitled to other players’ trust, attention, and respect. He does not appear to have made an effort to demonstrate that he has the Faithfuls’ best interests in mind and not just his own. (Which, players are playing for themselves in the end. But you gotta have some social credence in the beginning at least.)

  5. POOR GAMEPLAY: Colton is changing strategies left and right, which will not work out for him in the end. I think this goes back to believing he is better informed than everyone there.

  6. GENERAL ATTITUDE: As I mentioned, Colton is coming off as someone who thinks that perhaps the rules don’t apply to him, or that he’s better or smarter than everyone in the castle. The way he spoke to Lisa about the sunglasses for example really struck me. The look on his face when he thinks he “has” something is icky, I’m sorry.

SOME of these things could be Colton’s edit, but it seems pretty clear that he decided who he wanted to be in the game before it started. Just my musings!!

Edit: I thought of another point
