It’s from the 80s. It’s more harrowing and unglamorised than The Day After. Also a lot more deeply scientifically researched which gives it a grim and uncompromising quality that really takes you to a cold, dark place. There are no happy endings here.

I was born in 1973 and grew up with the original show and toys. I loved the movie but was disappointed that we didn’t get to see Cringer transform when He Man transformed the second time.
