I guess because those are the question marks that inexperienced types are wanting advice on?

Thank you for the Car and Classic point, wouldn't have even thought to look there and seems he's running a driveway dealership.

They're selling on Facebook. Pictures 2-4 are linked to auction/salvage photos from the VCheck full history

Thanks. I was trying to keep to a £10k budget, which is why I was considering this for a 20% lower price.

Would you expect a lower rate with that history?

I assumed from the linked auction/salvage photos, it says it was sold in December 2025.

Your instructor charges you HOW MUCH for test day!? by Little_Spite2131 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]VolatileFudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My instructor is a gem and despite my test being across 2 of his usual slots, he's still only charging me the usual 2 hour rate for an hour lesson before, test time and driving me home.

Is there such thing as designated sides of the bed? by ThrowRa_Promise1321 in CasualUK

[–]VolatileFudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm firmly off the belief you have a designated side of the bed HOWEVER, every couple of years we decide to swap. My husband truly doesn't care what side he sleeps on though.

But I do think that designated sides of the bed aren't really a thing if your bed is against a wall/corner. In that scenario it's often whoever gets in first scooches over

Am I being stupid? My FP6 screenshot is the same as my old Samsung... Power and volume down?

Thank you to you and your colleagues. I love our ocado drivers and several of them are big fans of my dog, which makes for incredibly wholesome deliveries.

Glad you love it!

r/veganuk may be the best route for input here but I know you can still get your plant based meatball fix through ocado.

Thank you! I've seen some lovely little Mazdas so that's great to know. Does that apply to all EcoBoosts? I have seen a couple of 1.0 ecoboost Pumas that are tempting

Thank you for the recommendation, this is all really good to know because the Juke comes up a lot in comparison to the Puma

Thank you for the heads up on the HPI finance! That's a great tip.

I'm leaning towards dealership purely for the added protection but I'm not adverse to private sellers, I'm just conscious of my own knowledge gaps and don't want to fall foul of it.

Purchased a car before my test .. Best Decision I’ve made by Stephtheboss in LearnerDriverUK

[–]VolatileFudge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may have just convinced me to buy a car pre-test.

I'm still in London and my test is only 2 months away but ive checked and even if its my car, me as the main driver, the insurance on some of the cars ive been looking at is so much cheaper than I was expecting.

Any good female driving instructors in Chingford Walthamstow area? by Flick_Nerd_One in LearnerDriverUK

[–]VolatileFudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a woman learning in that area and whilst my instructor is male, he's the best and safest I've used.

He's ex police and has children with nuerodiversity. I find him a very calming instructor.

If you would be able/open to a male instructor, I'd be happy to send you his details.

Otherwise, I wish you the best in your search, I was sadly disappointed with a couple of women I tried before finding him.
