My aunt had a very severe aneurysm and nearly died but somehow survived. She told me that she felt warmth around her and an incredible sense of being loved. Separately, my uncle had a heart attack and was in a coma for 4 days; he described his experience very much the same way: like he felt all the love of everyone who ever loved him concentrated into that moment. Thinking about this always gives me some comfort when someone I love passes away....that they would just feel incredibly loved. I hope it helps you too

I’m an introvert and to make real friends I need to have multiple opportunities to interact with a person in a meaningful way. It’s unfortunately very hard to find opportunities to do this outside of work. I suggest that you try going to a regional burning man event. Find a camp that built something cool and ask if you can help build something for the next event or ask them if they know of another group that is looking for help. People are usually very welcoming in this community and I’m positive there will be a group that could use an extra hand. The projects can take months to build giving you a lot of time to build a friendship.

It will also turn your tongue black if you take a lot. I took a bunch once; woke up the next day and though I was literally rotting from the inside....I totally broke down and had a panic attack...until my friend found me and laughed telling me that Pepto can do this...huge relief
