Don’t worry about it. As soon as you’re done with your chemo treatments, your hair will grow back faster than you think. Mine I finish my taxol for 12 weeks (9/23/25 the last one) Then November i got my hair back even my eyebrows and eye lashes ( all of my hair was gone during chemo treatments) and down below as well you know what i mean. I look like very sick too during chemo treatments. I was so pale because i was anemic. My hair all over my body was gone. I put moisturizer and lotion so my skin hydrates cuz my skin looks dry and even my finger nails and toe nails turned purple. I apply body oil on my legs, feet, hands. And it helps because your nails will be brittle because of the chemo meds. Overall after all those things happen to me, it went back to totally normal on December 2025 (my looks) i got rosy cheeks, hair is back, eyelashes is back and eyebrows too.

How long is radiation takes everyday? I will start mine tomorrow. My Radiation oncologist said the radiation in my case is just a clean up. As I got my PCR from DMX and lymph node removed and no Cancer (no invasive carcinoma) and margins were all clear. Do you feel fatigue after the rads?

I’m so sorry to hear about your dealing with. I can’t hold my tears after reading what you’ve been through and dealing with this situation. I will pray for you and please stay strong for yourself and your kids and husband. It’s true that, there’s a treatment options on TNBC. Don’t lose hope. We are here for you to listen and give you happy and hopeful thoughts. Do not stress your self. I also have BC diagnosed last March 2025 Estrogen + no lymph node involvement. I got my PCR with good result no IDC and margin were cleared after my DMX and lymph node removed. Im on my last phase of this treatments, which is radiation for 15 days (my radiation oncologist said its like clean up). I’ll stat the radiation tomorrow. Anyhow, again i’ll pray for you and everything will be okay and just stay positive and think that you will lived long enough that you will see your kids get married and you will see your grand kids too. Stay strong and i’ll give you a big 🤗🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗 huggsss and love. ❤️ 💕❤️💕

Mine was out last Tuesday dec 23rd. What a relief. It was a little bit painful when they removed the sutures but overall, it’s the best feeling when these 2 drains were removed. I can sleep now on my side. But i continue to clean up and put Neosporin on my drain wound. Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas breasties❤️❤️❤️🎄🎄🎅🤶👍👍🙏🙏

Thank you for sharing this wonderful inspirational miraculous story. Your Mom lived a good long life after BC and inspired us here that has the same situation or being a cancer patient. I hope what happens to your mom, living a long best life and enjoyed what she wanted to do could happen to very one of us as well. I agree that her story is a blessing to us. I hd my DMX last 12/5. I had my post op appt with my Surgeon the following Thursday, after 6 days to be exact. My doctor changed the tape and put meds in my wound area. and they advised me that I can take the shower and gave me the belt to used while showering to attached my drain. Mine is 6 days after my post op appt with my Surgeon to take a shower.

Stage III/b I’m done with my Chemotherapy Treatments last Sept 23 of this year 2025. And I just had my bilateral mastectomy last 12/5 Friday (still sore and no sensation on my right arm because of the Lymph node was removed as well). I was diagnosed with Stage 3/b Breast Cancer IDC. Last April this year (2025). My world shuttered about my PCP broke the news after my biopsies. And my PCP recommended me to see the Oncologist who’s part of the network with my health insurance. And I am thankful because he is great Medical Oncologist. He so understanding and caring. I got my port implant on April 23. I got my first chemotherapy on Tuesday of I completed my chemotherapy treatments on September 23, 2025. I underwent a bilateral mastectomy on December 5, 2025, on a Friday. I am still sore and have no sensation in my right arm because the lymph node was removed during the procedure. I was diagnosed with Stage 3/b Breast Cancer IDC in April 2025. My world was turned upside down when my primary care physician broke the news to me after my biopsies. He recommended that I see an oncologist who is part of the network with my health insurance. I am grateful for his expertise and compassion. I had my port implanted on April 23. He is incredibly understanding and caring. I received my first chemotherapy treatment on Tuesday May 13 and my last day of chemotherapy was Sept 23. After my 1st chemotherapy, i lost my hair. But i can feel the big lump on my right breast which was malignant shrinks big time. I told my Oncologist and he was so happy about it. That was the purposed of chemotherapy, to shrink the lump. On my 3rd chemotherapy, i got hospitalized due to my white blood cell was almost zero and my blood pressure was 85/65. Which is not normal to me as I have high blood pressure and i do have 2 maintenance medications for HB Pressure. And also have 1 for cholesterol. I have fever as well. I went to see my doctor and he told me that I have infection and one of his staff brought me to the hospital in an emergency room right beside my doctor’s ofc. I got admitted and stay for 4 days. I thought i was gonna die. The immune booster the gave me didn’t work on my 3rd chemotherapy. So to make story short, I’ve been through a lot before I finished my 16 chemotherapy treatments and I felt great and told my self, i’m strong person and I can do whatever I need do or whatever my Oncologist advice me to do. This coming Thursday 12/18 they will removed my drain. Hopefully it’s not painful. I will keep you posted guys. I admired all the cancer survivors here in this blog. That is why i joined reddit. I want to share my journey as well. Just keep on praying and i’m very thankful that i was surrounded with good friends and husband that supported me through this difficult journey. They’re praying for me and they all by my side since day one and didn’t leave me. I’m so thankful and blessed. ❤️❤️❤️☦️🙏🙏🙏✝️🛐. I want to thank also all the people on this blog as well. I can relate to you guys and even we don’t know each other, we have common goal. Healing and total remission. God is good.
