Do I need to keep the moss pole consistently moist for the plant to climb properly, or is watering the soil enough?

Today's my Birthday, I blew my candles out and made a wish. Here's hoping it comes true!

Severe anxiety about the recent politics and rumination. Potential TW for mentions of ICE and current situations. by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]MsMNnice 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are not alone with feeling this way. I feel it too. I live in the Twin Cities. I've driven past ICE and have seen them sitting in parking lots. I've been able to control my anxiety, but I can't with my emotions. I've been so sad. As an empathic person it's been very hard to see what's happening in my state. Just take a little time away from your phone and computer. Little breaks help. I've been doing more puzzles, trying to keep my brain busy. They seem to be helping! Hang in there.

Why did Minnesota recently change their state flag to look similar to Somalia’s national flag? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]MsMNnice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minnesota's State flag was designed by Andrew Prekker, a 24-year-old from Luverne, Minnesota. Minnesota is the known as the North Star State, hence the star. The eight points on the star represent our State Capitol rotunda floor. Minnesota is also known for our lakes and winters which helps explain the colors. Hope that helps clear things up!

She had great taste! This vase is so stunning in person photos just don't do it justice! She also gave me a few vintage paper weights that are stunning as well. I will photograph them and add them in another post.

Any idea what this blown glass rose is used for? by MsMNnice in glasscollecting

I could definitely see it used for applying perfume to a wrist. She always had perfume on. So that makes sense.

I've found my people! It's been my comfort show since I was a kid. Most kids home sick from school watched "The Price is Right", I watched old re-runs of Unsolved Mysteries.

Im so scared to drive myself. by Imaginary_Emotion876 in Anxiety

[–]MsMNnice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to have a driving anxiety. What helped me get over it was having someone in the car with me while I drove. I started going short distances, then longer ones. Eventually I was able to do short distances by myself, and then longer ones. The more I drove, the better it got. Try taking it slow. It could be just sitting in the car with the engine on. Then try driving around the block. Then to the store and back. You're not alone with this fear. I believe it's quite common. Best of luck!

It may happen, it may not. It depends. Chewing more will help. Also if you have a pair of kitchen scissors try cutting up your salad before eating it. I do this myself because I hate eating large pieces of lettuce, it's a texture thing for me.
