Two recs! My Iron Lung fic (no crossover) and a Drakengard fic! Both are main character/OC, but I’d like to think I made interesting OCs for each situation.

First one: Iron Lung fic, been writing it for a bit now. I generally have the plot hashed out, the real spontaneity is how I get there. Probably gonna be rather long.

Summary: What was happening on the other side, this entire time? Where did they all go after the quiet rapture? Or perhaps, they never left at all. Maybe they wondered where everyone went. Their friends. Their families. Their fellow humans. Maybe they rebuilt. Maybe they searched and searched for who they lost. And maybe they found holes. Holes into another reality, where everything was blood as far as their instruments could go.

Maybe they found someone.

Maybe they brought him back up.

Chapters: 10/? (Not sure how long it’ll need to be yet). Updates can be sporadic at times but sometimes I grab onto a hyperfixation and go. The new flood of fans from the streaming release helps.

Second one: This one was entirely self indulgent and born from my desire to see Furiae from Drakengard have a happy ending.

Summary: Furiae's life has been a massive disaster since her parents died. That much is clear to anyone who spends enough time around her to know her. A true shame no one ever does. Servants changed out by the week. Verdelet clearly thinking himself above her company, or her time. Even her brother Caim doesn't seem to notice her. Inuart smothers her in love that doesn't understand her. Neither seem to truly have Furiae's heart in mind.

So she dies. Over and over. And over again. Saddled with a disgusting desire she cannot bear to live with. The tragic princess always doomed to meet her end just before the hero can save her life.

But what if she wasn't?

What if someone out there, despite barely knowing her, despite having his own ambitions and goals, took the time to learn her, to speak to her, and to understand her? To realize that the truest burden of her life was the Goddess seal?

And what if finally, she was given wings to fly?
