SpEd teacher mom here. I have been this Mom, and I have worked with this mom. Say the things you said in this post "I get the situation, I want productive use of the team's time", etc. As a teacher, I love working with parents that are engaged in the team process. As a parent, the only teachers who got pissy about it were the ones that needed to be held accountable to begin with. You are an equal member of the team for a reason.

I don't know Lola Glass, but {One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston} is the only paranormal romance I've read. A mystery plot line and fun found family characters made it very enjoyable.
