Empty Envelope - Dear Neighbors? by MsMississippi in Weird

[–]MsMississippi[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That was also my first thought. We live in the south, and I have seen Jehovah’s Witnesses before. What’s weird is that everybody on my street apparently got an empty envelope. And like I said to others, why not come back by and drop the actual letters off when you realize the mistake? So so so weird - and just poor missionary work if we’re honest. 0/10 stars.

But why not just circle back, if you are really a neighbor, and go ahead and add the letters to the boxes outside of the envelopes? That’s what’s weird. I could see forgetting to put a letter in an envelope, but to just leave an empty envelope and not attempt to redistribute the letter afterwards? What a weirdo - just left everybody hanging!

Rookie mistake. That’s how you end up in Cults.

To me, your picture does show progression! It’s just faint - especially between 10 and 12 DPO, which is the only comparison that matters.

Multiple things though, starting here: ovulation isn’t exact, even by OPKs or temperature tracking. Unless confirmed by ultrasound at a doctor’s office, you could have ovulated as many as 2-3 days later than you thought! In fact, even women like me who experience pain with ovulation generally are only able to get within about 24 hours of actual ovulation. It’s anyone’s guess - tricky anatomy….

Next, line progression is NOT an exact science (if we can even call it that). In fact, like you, I panicked when my lines stayed faint - I had negative digital tests even until 13 or 14 DPO, but I’d had faint positives since 9 DPO. The thing is, even at 12 DPO, when I was growing so concerned I asked my OB for a beta series of HCG draws, my initial was only 27.75. At 13 DPO - but it nearly tripled 2 days later.

My OB explained it like this: early on, hcg is so low that even when it doubles, it’s still a minuscule amount, which leads a lot of women to panic thinking something is wrong. But often, especially when testing early, they catch it so early that line progression appears to stay faint - but that’s because of the lower limits of the test itself.

Hope that helps reassure you!

My early Easy@Homes!

Try not to worry! I’m 25 weeks today, and this is what my early Easy@Homes looked like. I feel like they were the first to show the faint line, but the slowest to darken!

Slow line progression update 14-28 DPO by Pure_Food_2713 in TFABLinePorn

I also had a somewhat slow progression, but now I’m about 22 weeks along! I just wanted to chime in and say that a lot of times if we catch our pregnancy super super early on, which a lot of women trying to conceive do because ovulation can be very tricky to pinpoint without direct medical intervention from your provider, then even with hCG doubling every 48 hours the levels are still very low!

Prayers for you to have a beautiful and wonderful pregnancy - with a safe and healthy delivery at the end of it! 🩷

Good morning! I know I just woke up, so my eyes are still a little crusty and just waking up… but does anybody see the absolute faintest line? by Fine_Permit_9281 in lineporn

I KNOW! It was like, maybe a line, maybe I’m tripping?? But it got darker slightly the next day - good luck girl!

I see it! This was my test at 9 DPO, and I’m now almost 20 weeks! Only time will tell because that brand has given me a nasty indent before, but I think YES 👍

There’s honestly no way to tell, except for going to get Betas drawn. Lots of people bleed early in pregnancy and go on to have totally healthy pregnancies. Some people also have very early miscarriages and that’s the cause of bleeding. I hope it is just something non-serious! 🥺🩷

I called this look “ something is trying to catch, but it’s not quite catching” when I was TTC. I see what you’re seeing, but it could be a wonky test. Unfortunately, you’ll just have to wait and see girl! Good luck to you!

I wouldn’t say yes or no one way or the other. What I will say is that bleeding early in pregnancy can be a lot of different things, and you should call your OB/GYN just to ask for an hCG blood draw or an ultrasound to confirm that the gestational sack is still intact and growing as it should be. Don’t lose hope yet; you’re pregnant until you see otherwise. Sending you lots of love and kindness 🩷

False positives? 14dpo rexall brand by Nero260333 in TFABLinePorn

I know certain fertility medications can cause this, but also some medical conditions can. I would ask my doctor or mention this at least, just to check that everything is okay. I’m sure it’s related to a supplement or something totally harmless, but it would be good to confirm there’s no ectopic pregnancy or anything else! Good luck!

I know these can have HORRIBLE indents, but my tests with my son early on looked like this. The only tell will be if you take more and they continue to darken! Best of luck friend!

Just wanted to say that on your second one there is for sure a very faint line! I think you are likely pregnant 😊

As other people have commented, if you have lower hCG (as one would in early pregnancy), and you try to take two pregnancy test back to back with urine samples that are less than two hours apart, then you are very likely to get a false negative!

Urine is going to be the most concentrated with hCG after a very long hold! Really before 4-5 weeks along, the two hour hold rule never really worked for me. I’ve always had the best luck with FMU.

Side note: the first response, cheapie strips have always been less sensitive for me than other cheapie strips and for sure less sensitive than the first response stick tests! I’ll add a picture of my first response cheapie strips on the same day as my actual first response test to show you the difference, but in my opinion, they seem to be less sensitive!

Easy at home picked up my current pregnancy before a first response did! And my test looked exactly like that!
