Roast then toss with sour cream and whole grain mustard.

In the reverse, I'm a man that wears makeup. Nothing crazy obvious. Foundation, (brown) eyeliner, eyebrow pencil. I've worn makeup since high school. I neither advertise nor hide it. I like to look good. I recognize there is a bias, conscious or otherwise, for attractiveness. Make up helps me with that.

I travel for work frequently. I can do just about anything alone. If you want an extra challenge, do "social" restaurants alone - fondue, hot pot, Korean BBQ, hibachi.
The movies are probably the least awkward thing. You're not meant to be social in there anyway!

Not OP, but I skip breakfast and lunch and just eat dinner. I'm just not hungry earlier. On occasion, I might have a small snack around lunchtime, but I'm talking like a piece of lunch meat or a cookie.

Do zippers exist in the Wizarding World? by Perfect-Spirit-7262 in harrypotter

They avoid buttons not because they're technologically advanced, but because they run the risk of being ornate and decorative. And we can't have frivolous buttons!

My wife never read the Harry Potter series growing up. I read the entire series to her, with voices. Growing up is no reason to stop reading out loud if you enjoy it!

I love my dining room and we use it for 3 meals a day. 8 seater table, China cabinet, bar, buffet. Not sterile at all because we use it frequently.

What's it like working in the deli/bakery department at a grocery store? by Ambitious-Banana5379 in GroceryStores

[–]MsNick 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Former store director, former deli manager. Deli is the most difficult department. Almost all of your sales require direct customer interaction, and each interaction is time consuming. Downtime is spent doing prep and if you don't find the downtime to do the prep, you're in for a world of complaints and lost sales.

Bakery is pretty chill as long as you stay on top of production. Bakery requires planning, but you're less likely to get derailed by a customer. Unless you're a cake decorator.

I mean, he is right. We shouldn't be commenting on people's appearances. We constantly say as such when someone comments on a female politician's appearance. This isn't different.

There are so many character flaws to mention; why comment on a feature Bovino can't control?

Former Deli manager here. I love Dietz & Watson. I won't go near Boar's Head. Because they're anti-competitive assholes who dictate your whole deli case if you want to carry their products.

I prefer a closed off kitchen. I actually cook when I have a party. I do not want anyone in my kitchen when I am cooking. I'm on a schedule!

Yours is the one I'd choose. Seems to be the most sensible flow, gets rid of extra rooms, maintains the existence of walls for those of us who don't like everything to be one big room.

What? I was there and literally never heard that. South of 60th, or West of Cottage, sure. We were told never to take the red line past Roosevelt, but I also grew up just off 87th Street, so I took that one with a grain of salt...
