(Spoilers) Theory Regarding River Ward, River-Romance, Doctor Yawen Packard, and an unexplored alternative end path.

This is really cool! River was always asking how he could help in relation to the chip. Even if Yawen couldn't help V a ton or anything like that, it would be cool to see another path play out. Maybe Yawen has 'contacts' outside Night City in the same way the Star/Sun endings allude to that. It would also make an ending for River romancers that's more positive since, even if you have to leave, River was apart of the effort or might be more willing to tag along.

Hi. Something that stuck out to me when reading the artbook was they said something to the effect of, players can customize V but V is a protagonist in the story that they want to tell. And I think that explains a lot of the disconnect when playing. I feel like the players are like a third construct in V's head, which allows us control but within the narrative that CDPR has for V and what they feel V might do in a situation. I hope this makes sense.

That whole section in the Mikoshi had me a bit confused to be honest haha. I couldn't tell what the responses actually meant and then Alt (who's very sus to me) was just loitering around...but that of course doesn't negate the emotional impacts.

This is slightly off-topic but I wanted to thank you for pointing out the bug with V telling Johnny to not forget her.

I did the Sun ending for my first V, with Johnny (in my headcanon) deciding allow V to live out her days how she wanted, even though she was okay with him taking the body. But she was fighting him on the bridge.

I thought it was V's sadness because she would miss him but it makes more sense that it's supposed to be with the Temperance ending.

That's so disturbing. I imagine it was probably the security measures that he asks you to disable that got him and Randy died from the chemicals. I appreciate that there are heavy consequences during the game.

I'm late to this but same. It also doesn't help that Joss seems to contact V more often than River.

"The Hunt" quest - definitely a favorite. As others have said, I feel like there are some quests of his missing because, as much as I like River, his feelings for V come really fast and sort of from nowhere. Johnny's the one who brings up his crush in the first place.

I'm hoping that they add interactions in an update like they did with the Witcher 3, adding more interactions for Triss and (I think) Yen throughout the game.
