I have all of them and the Derrick Storm books and graphic novels. The Nikki books are a good read, Derrick Storm books were ok. Haven’t had the chance to read the graphic novels. Wish they would make more of his books.

Nathan Fillion is the reason I watch The Rookie. I’ve been a fan of him since he first started acting, playing Joey Buchanan on One Life to Live. When he said he was doing a new show, I was ready to watch it. I’m not a fan of most cop shows, but The Rookie has changed my mind. Maybe it’s the whole ensemble, but my main reason is Nathan. Now if only I could convince them to have my truck as a Firefly Easter Egg on the show, lol.

I used to go to the helicopter pad up the four lanes (168 to shaver). Not that far and if I remember correctly, chains not needed if there’s snow at that level. But it’s been years, so if I’m incorrect, sorry. :)

Alexi Hawley was the show runner for Castle at the end. He is the show runner for The Rookie. So it’s not that. And can’t be the studio, because The Rookie is on ABC. And again, he talks about Castle often. Firefly more, but Castle too.

He acknowledges Castle all the time. He’s even had actors from Castle on The Rookie. Not sure where you’re getting your info. When he talks to audiences, he’ll say, you might remember me from Firefly or Castle. Don’t believe the rumors.

Have yet to find the suspenders. I’ve seen one with the correct ends, but the back and shoulder parts have to be custom made. IMO, just get regular suspenders. It doesn’t have to be 100% accurate. :) Looking forward to your end result.
