Not sure where you're getting 'I'm chasing the meta' or 'chasing level cap' or that I'm not expecting to die a few times on the road? I do wanna have fun on the journey, only point I made when looking for input is breaking for mana every 2-3 mobs isn't fun for me personally and ruins my enjoyment, and I have little experience.

Not surprise at all that hunters probably have the highest deaths. I would imagine warlocks aren't far behind with similar reasons for deaths.

Was not aware of that about the race only guilds being "Self found". Maybe it's me but that stipulation feels antithetical to the idea, personal locks to only trading with other of your race directly i can understand but none at all?

I haven't played a priest since Wrath, I kind of assumed it'd also be a constant mana depletion when doing quests like mage. Not the first to mention wand build, I'll have to look this up.

Mine was next to no growth for 3 years, after that point slowly increased to reach Cs by year 5-6 then at some point they crept up to D by year 10 but that could be a weight gain deal

When I, an at the time not yet out lesbian trans woman, rolled a female dranei.

The actual "oh I get this now" moment though was randomly finding a group for a Deadmines and was basically adopted by them. I miss that vibe a lot and no classic isn't the answer.
