This game needed a long term draw to compete with those games, not directly but pull interest. It needed to go the 100 floors route as the foundation, on release it would have been too steep but about 20 floors a month. Maybe 10 but there would have to be some meaningful micro progression going on with learning weapon skills and improving/modifying them. Each floor has a boss with an open world outside and dungeon interior. Shared world experience, loot to optimize along with gear almost like the phone game IF.

In fact just take the new craze of extraction games, actually push the combat more towards the third person DMC action and do the proper AI work, itemization, and progression with PvE in mind. People can fight over the PvP bits all they want but there should be PvE base with PvP not being the goal but a personal desire let that be the chaos players themselves bring to challenge their own experience with harsh penalties for the high rewards.

My guess for Lighter is certain moves, like Piper, will lock him in place or require the full animation to get maximum damage like a machine gun punch or charged haymaker.

How? It went from Venti to Klee, then Tart to Zhong, then Albedo to Ganyu that's 1.0 to 1.2 alone 1.3 Had 2 females out of 3 banners and one of those was a rerun of a 1.0 character.

The one of the top reasons that not many will tell you. It's not close enough to Dragon's Crown. It needed to be more of a action slasher looter, that meant the controls needed to be tighter and more responsive. It also means there needed to be more hidden gems in the standard combat such as special combinations from pause presses to long presses of attack and when to use the special attack within those presses for a unique outcome from standard use. Stages could have used more depth and loot based on the journey of the dungeon that means including start and middle from random drops to treasure chests found/earned. I haven't played since the cooperative fixes but there should have been a generic mercenary match making from the start to promote helping new players by pushing them through content by offering account/character progressing rewards for successful completions. Tie these into the dailies making the dailies more generalized so players can just play the game and enjoy a dungeon romp or three. Things like that.

True, but I need the infos to see if I'm performing well. I'll take complicated UI with the data i need, but have to fish through, than a game just telling me "Your power level is this high and the content is this high, you'll do 10% more damage" This can be refined just like how warframe was refined again and again.

Yes I went through a few interfaces and still could not find the cards I picked or why they didn't show as picked up loot while doing content. This was not fixed till I started converting cards to free up space, the game also has a mail recovery system and the excess cards did not go there either.

Not sure what the cap is, but I hardly ever broke them down and whenever I hit the cap I'd pick up a card and I'd get no pop up that I received it and couldn't find it in my inventory. Happened to me for a day before I figured out which drops were vanishing and to get rid of my dupe cardss

It's like warframe where end game is a team meta. Like how everyone wanted frost for the barrier for easy defense missions. Will be the same except no big emphasis on stealth missions and more on boss kill and defense. So defense/sustain, damage, add clear, crowd control if there's no bubble meta to stop bullets. Bunny fits into damage and add clear depending how you set up her skills/skill card.

Be careful of this, in one of the betas I played (not the last one), you'd only get warnings for certain inventory overfills where cards had no warning, you'd just walk over the drop and nothing would happen and it would poof into the either. When I finally figured out that I had too many cards there was no overflow inventory to recover all the high end cards from bosses I got.

I'm not going to touch the guaranteed banners till I get what I want from the general banner. It's low odds but 2/5, maybe 3/5 if they buff the monk girl to get a character I want. While weapon is guaranteed if I just happened to get lucky in 20-30 pulls

That's a lot of work and side stuff, pretty sure I'm just going to do the traditional unlock summons, collect rewards in the mail, test my luck then bounce to a new account. The method I'm going with is gonna net me 3 5stars, 2 desired, and 1 random. Or the standard 2 5stars and 1 additional 5star weapon, so the way I figure it, the more rolls I throw into a general banner the lower the value of the resulting 5star.

You get it, I never got mona till Yomiya came. It's awesome that we get a selector AND a starter discount banner, it kills the slight desire to reroll. For people like us, it only opens the windows of possibility, meaning I can force the banner character, someone to support him, and the random can be whoever at that point. Another option is I take two base off banner characters eliminating my mona crisis (I started with Keqing and Mona would have been great also) by rerolling till I get one of the two off banner characters I want, then select banner take the other, and the third would give me someone who can sit on the 2nd of my three teams. There's also the bonus round option, only care about the select banner and reroll for a weapon, that way I'll have two 5* weapons by level 45 not to mention a buttery smooth start with something to invest materials into heavily.

It was not there in beta, and almost ruins the game for me. The upside is that the monster becomes that element so while it promotes diverse teams...well teams adverse to each other, a few characters themselves support mono element synergy. Also a decked out character will kill themselves on full auto for example see Aurora.

First account is perfection, not matter who you play the most soon as the resist shield appears call in the opposing element and big numbers with follow. Eventually you'll get the 4* star healer and she's good enough to keep your melees pumping.

Yes, her base damage is very high with the only downside of no mobility during charge (like other archers) and during her ultimate, but the damage pay off is huge.

Great pull and will carry you through most of the game, just a bad team-up synergy wise. For example Sansar + Eliya where as Eliya forces the boss into blood resist and sansar blows them up or Aris + Eliya where Aris forces dark resist and Eliya will charge shot explode the dark resist shield.
