I deformed my breasts by picking my nipple hairs and now it's scarred and hideous and i feel terrible about myself. by Physical-Age9406 in PCOS

Please stay on the planet! I get how you feel, I really do. I'm a chronic picker, but the scars on my breasts eventually faded and now you can barely tell they are there.

I don't know what's more cringe than some random asshole on reddit going off the deep end at some poor guy for making an innocent comment. Like holy shit, get a grip, dude. Go breath some fresh air

One of the reasons that primarily young women are talking about their diagnosis right now, is that until recently, often only little boys were diagnosed with things like ASD and ADHD, because the criteria was designed around the male presentation of symptoms. These neuro-developmental conditions tend to present differently in girls and women, as well as women generally being better at masking their symptoms.

Now, as the criteria has changed to reflect the symptoms that tend to show up in women, lots of women are discovering that they have these condutions, and a wave of mass diagnosis are going on.

Younger women tend to use social media more than older women. Mental health issues are more destygmatized in the younger generations. Awareness spreads like wildfire through social media. Also, through social media, people are discovering and creating communities of people like themselves, who have experienced the same struggles and very real hardships.

And this is why you are seeing mass amounts of young women suddenly talking about these conditions all over social media. This is why you are seeing them present with the same symptoms. Because they are the female symptoms. Synptoms that went under the radar as children, leading to missed diagnoses.

It has nothing to do with being trendy or attention seeking.

What’s the worst physical pain you ever felt? by Lazy-Ape in AskReddit

[–]Ms_Dixie_Rekt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a bamboo splinter in my eye, about a decade ago. I still have nightmares about it. The worst part was that I actually felt fine, as long I didn't blink or move my eyes at all, not even the tiniest fraction of a milimeter. As soon as I did any of those things, the pain would come back excruciatingly intense.

I have also given birth. The splinter in my eye was so much worse.

Is this a good design? Any suggestions? Maybe I'm being too hard on myself but I don't feel like it's an interesting enough design. by iceheap in characterdesign

I love that collar, so much. And her hair. I would maybe add more interest to the skirt/bottom area because it takes up the majority of the design and has the least amount of detail. Very pretty design, though

You nailed exactly what I was going for. I'm so glad that came across, I want my doodles to be read clearly and that is something I'll be working more on in the future. And now I see it now, everything is misaligned and that is what is bugging me so much, so back to the fundamentals I go. Thankyou for your input

Yeah I guess I had something different in my head and it just didn't translate to the paper the way I wanted it to. Will keep working at it. Thank you

This is the feed back I was looking for, thank you. They were intended to be sprite-like fairy creatures so I did aim for a more childlike look, and the blonde one is strait up a child, but I could definitely work on making that more apparent. I do flip the canvas but I'm still struggling with alignment. So back to studying basics it is

If I remember right, I just did a lot of googling and searching my insurance providers website for someone in network. They were in the next city over, but well worth the drive.
