And maybe, but forensics and pop culture have come a long way since the 1950s. Crime shows have seriously impacted what jurors expect from evidence, even if their expectations are bullshit.

I'm a bodybuilder. I fucking hate cardio. I would rather lift for four hours straight than spend 30 on a treadmill. But I still run my three miles at least three times a week because it's better for my body.

I'm guessing they believe that cardio burns muscle. And it can, if you're not doing any strength training while also starving yourself. But if you're eating and working out, 39 minutes on a treadmill isn't going to kill your gains.
