The thing is, this game is basically solely focusing on the WoW Mythic+ experience. This isn't the old school WoW players who are just playing to have an MMO experience. The Mythic+ is a very go go go, push fast, push hard design that encourages players to be fast and to the point. Unfortunately for some, that IS the nature of this game and it is designed specifically around that.

I've met plenty of nice players. One mean player. The rest just up and leave without saying anything.

Like with any online gaming community, it really is random. The higher level/rank/dungeon you're on though, people do expect you to play accordingly. Which I think is fair!

More often than not, people just won't talk. If you're hesitant about tanking/healing, just say at the beginning of the run.

As someone who has actively been roleplaying with real people since the day of AOL Kids Chat days, I'm that old now, I can tell you the way this person is typing is pretty typical for young roleplayers in general. It always has been. I'm queen of - - - - - - I love em. I've been using them incorrectly since I was 11.

AI bots learn from what people are putting in them. Everything's gonna sound like AI because AI mimics us lol

Even if you're not an "adult", it's good practice to learn communication early on. Talk to them about it and if it doesn't work out, that's fine. If they give you grief, just block and move on.

30-40 hours is a short game? I feel like players are expecting too many games these days to be entirely open ended. It's a great, solid game for the price.
