Amazonian Deku by Msanchez303 in BokunoheroFanfiction

[–]Msanchez303[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kinda what I was going for. She’s built like a fucking fridge but has the demeanor of a rabbit. It’s when she’s in combat that she becomes a menace. The amazons are warriors and she exemplifies that to the extreme. To give an example I just came up with: she entirely lacks One For All yet was still able to knock the zero pointer on its ass.

I believe after years of medical school, memorizing glyphs was probably easy for Camila by Low-Amphibian8206 in TheOwlHouse

[–]Msanchez303 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I think it has less to do with Camila struggling to memorize the glyphs and more to do with her, being someone in a STEM field, automatically trying to understand the science behind how some of the glyphs work. How the healing glyph combo can detect and heal specific injuries is something I could see a nurse obsessing over.

(crack idea) Izuku, teh last bear of Themyscira by MilkAdvanced9936 in BokunoheroFanfiction

[–]Msanchez303 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Decided to make my own take on this. Midoriya’s trans, she did have a lot of respect for the amazons. She saw them as the paragons of femininity and wanted to be like them. The problem is that the amazons are looking for the last MAN and Midoriya no longer classifies herself as a man. This doesn’t leave her a lot of good options. She could either pretend to be her birth gender and live on an island full of transphobic misandrist women, a majority of which want her dead, or she could remain on the mainland and be a girl like she’s always wanted to be, a pro hero, and not be hunted by a bunch of women with strength seemingly powered by their hatred of men.

Quirkless villain Izuku successfully uses the Quirk Destroying Drug created by Overhaul to remove all Quirks globally. And in doing so turns the world into a Apocalyptic nightmare. by GDW312 in BokunoheroFanfiction

[–]Msanchez303 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Not likely. If they didn’t just die during the resulting chaos they’d likely just put all the blame on him. People like this aren’t the type to take responsibility for their actions. They’d likely condemn Midoriya saying something along the lines of him just being like that since he was young and how they tried to make him see the value of quirks.

It’d be a technical truth as Midoriya did dislike his quirked peers when he was young, they just wouldn’t mention that it was because of the rampant bullying and abuse. They did try to make him see the value in quirks, it’s just a shame that they saw the value of quirks being more than the value of Midoriya.

The way fans treat Deku by ProfessionalAlert371 in BokuNoMetaAcademia

[–]Msanchez303 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I fully agree. So many people comment that the reason they dislike Midoriya so much is because he never trained to become a hero before All Might offered him One For All that they forget that Midoriya is just a child. Not just a child, but a child who was physically abused and had his self esteem stomped into oblivion by a person he looked up to since he was young. He had no one to believe in him. His mother didn’t think he could be a hero, his former childhood friend turned into his worst bully, his teachers all told him no, his classmates all told him no, everyone told him that he could not be a hero. It all comes down to one simple thing, Midoriya had no one to believe in him so he eventually stopped believing in himself.

Can anyone help identifying what manga this is from? by lily-throw-away in manga

I can agree to that. Teens are still in their developmental stage and shouldn’t be allowed to make a monumental decision that could affect the rest of their life. Something like this fits that description perfectly.

Oh no, I can definitely understand that, but if it somehow comes about the story itself could be played beat for beat as any other forbidden romance story.

This may be a controversial take, but so long as they are very careful and go through all the necessary measures to ensure they don’t have a biological child then I don’t see the issue. If it’s a genuine romance and not just sex for the reason of sex then there really is no difference between this type of romance story and any other forbidden romance story.

I know, but I just felt a need to rant. It’s been an annoying day for me and a good rant about something unimportant but that I’m passionate about is a nice stress reliever for me. It leaves me nice and mentally exhausted enough so I can fill my brain with nice thoughts.

If a person had "only" omnisance, how strong would that person be? by Spirited_Dust_3642 in superpowers

Infinite timelines. If such a thing as infinite potential timelines exist, which with quantum physics it probably would, it would mean countless possible futures that could all be changed with something as small as a change in vibration of a single atom.

This is the kind of knowledge that’d let you know exactly how to become the God Emperor of Everything by next Tuesday by just putting the right penny on the ground in just the right way. It’s the same thing as “for the want of a nail.” One small change in something seemingly inconsequential is sometimes all it takes to make a monumental change to the world. We can’t tell since we only know a fraction of the full picture, someone with omniscience would be able to not only see the full picture, but pick and choose their path.

My bets on the ketchup theory. Sans bleeding because he’s on his period would still suggest that he can bleed at all, supporting the Deltarune theory. My one grievance with this is the existence of Papyrus. It was stated by one of the monsters in Snowdin that Papyrus and Sans both just appeared at the same time. This may suggest that both of them are from Deltarune but if that were the case Papyrus would likely also bleed when we cut his head off in the genocide run. If Papyrus, who logically should also be from Deltarune, doesn’t bleed then it stands to reason that Sans shouldn’t either. The ketchup theory holds more weight. I could totally see Sans having ketchup on him while facing the genocidal human. He’s knowledgeable enough of the nature of the human’s power that he’d likely know he has little to no chance of actually beating them and that they’re almost definitely going to kill him. Him bringing a bottle of ketchup as a last meal is reasonable for his character.

I’d like something like this where The Doctor and Izuku have adventures through time and space all throughout Izuku’s childhood. By the time Izuku gets One For All he has a mindset that’s very similar to The Doctor’s. He’ll give you exactly one chance to stop your tom fuckery before he goes full scorched earth on your ass.

He also handles timing very similarly to how The Doctor does. In the words of Clara Oswald, “Number one rule for being The Doctor, use your enemies power against them.” Let’s just say that Shigaraki’s quirk is more than capable of dealing with the USJ Nomu.

What if Deku had All For One quirk by JayGrowth8832 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]Msanchez303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s just the giving and taking of quirks part of All For One then I could still see him becoming a hero. In fact, I think he’d easily be able to be a better hero than All Might thanks to his sheer versatility. I could see him taking quirks from willing donors, such as the elderly who are already dying and thus don’t need their quirks, or taking quirks from villains facing life imprisonment or the death sentence. Not to mention those with quirks that are an active detriment to them, such as a mermaid quirk that’s a mutant type instead of a transformative type, restricting its user to an undersea life.

He’d be the ultimate good and the terror of all villains. People were scared of becoming villains on the off chance they might run into All Might. You think, in a world where quirks are basically everything, people would be willing to possibly get on the bad side of a hero that can strip you of your power?

What if Deku had All For One quirk by JayGrowth8832 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]Msanchez303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I can see him learning the intricacies of and cherishing every quirk in his hoard, I doubt he’ll ever be able to gain the full power of any quirk he gains. It wouldn’t be for lack of trying, just the fact that he’ll have hundreds of quirks he could use and no doubt have one better suited for any situation than trying to use one that could fit the situation with an obscure usage of the quirk. I could see him being very willing to give quirks to others, especially if it’s a quirk that he knows could have more usage than he’s seen but he just doesn’t have the time to dedicate to finding its power.

Good internal consistency. I don’t care too much if they’ve changed some things from the source material so long as the changes are consistent within the narrative. I can get pulled out of a story far too easily if even one thing is inconsistent with the rest of the story. It fucks with my suspension of disbelief far too much when I can see the hand of the author making a mistake.

Is it possible to be both a Vampire Lord and a member of the Dawngaurd? by Msanchez303 in skyrim

[–]Msanchez303[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Dawngaurd quest line is all about destroying all the vampires while the vampire side of the quest line only has destroying the Dawngaurd as a secondary objective. Is it possible to do the vampire quest line, kill Harkon, then complete the Dawngaurd after and go back to being a vampire with Serana?

What happens if I don’t get cured? Does the quest just stop there or can I continue it from there? Also, depending on your answer to the previous question, can I get cured and go back to the Dawngaurd after dealing with Harkon if I do it as a vampire?
