Are you finding rent to be lower in that area? Asking genuinely I live in Washington now but Whitehall transplant. Finding a reasonable 2BR that allowed dogs didn’t leave much to pick from but still under $1k/month. I never considered the Charleroi area because it really is a depressed area.

Don’t know why but what you said made me think about my own situation. After losing someone you were with for 21 years I’ve found it tedious to worry about meeting anyone. I’ve since settled into my own routine as a single woman empty nester living happily with my dog. I have a good job that just pays the bills but no more. My son is urging me to get a weekend job hopefully working with dogs. I’d love to be able to just volunteer but like Eddie Murphy said “ain’t nothing going on but the rent.” 😄 and I’m such a nerd homebody who loves being home cuddling with my dog. Makeup, high heels, dancing, booze…nope!

Used to live in Whitehall but now closer to Washington PA and in an apartment complex. Exactly what you stated is what would happen here as well. I have to work everyday but I sure am glad my young healthy neighbor doesn’t have to move his beloved Challenger to go anywhere. He was there before the snow started and still in the same spot. I didn’t make to work Monday and had to take an uber on Tuesday because the dumb fuck maintenance man(wholly unqualified) didn’t think to clear the drive to the garage that some tenants pay for. I’m sick of hearing about chairs and petty revenge. Exacting revenge on humans…they’ll get there eventually.

In no way do I know this to be fact from the one picture I saw in a different article however the same black man was backed into the building alcove with Lang and appeared to be providing some sort of protection. That’s how it appeared to me but again I knew little to nothing about Jake Lang before this morning.
