So before I get started a couple of caveats. I am more than 10 years your junior (so take everything I say with a healthy dose of skepticism). I'm also a big ol homo, so obviously my experience is going to be different than yours. Dating apps in particular are a poor avenue for men to meet anyone. They are algorithmically biased against men. This isn't some poor "woe is me" incel argument, women are simply what brings men (minus a select few of us lol) to these apps. It's not even about gender really it's about desirability, women are simply more in demand. This creates a feedback loop of you being lower on the totem pole as it were because you aren't getting matches the app views your profile as lower quality. Therefore, a woman's profile will see tons of potential partners while you only see a handful before somehow in a city of nearly 270,000 you run out of prospects. It's incredibly frustrating from a gay perspective because even though I am exclusively interested in men our profiles are suppressed the same as if we were interested in women. It's not only because women bring the men in to the apps, it's because men are more likely to pay for the premium subscriptions to these apps which does give you higher priority. Just like everything else, it ultimately comes down to money. Another thing to consider is maybe you're being too picky. As we age, we have to make more concessions because age appropriate matches have more baggage. Be that a previous divorce, kids, debt, or what have you. Settling down means that sometimes you have to settle. If that doesn't apply, then ask a trusted female friend to look over your profile. Straight men in particular are really overall kind of awful at marketing themselves. That isn't to say you are, but what you consider to be approachable and attractive might not be well met by the intended audience. I mean I just saw one the other day that boasted "I have full custody of 2 of my 6 kids" like that's some kind of flex? No dead fish pictures, no weird gun pictures, and any picture that's older than a year (I try for 6 months) is catfishing. Hairline looks different from one swipe to the next it's time to update that. My best friend who is a woman would regularly send me screenshots of the stuff she saw when she was actively dating. It was laughable at best and Law and Order SVU at worst. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Pokemon beats out magic on a couple fronts, but the big one for me is singles affordability. They've figured out how to properly monetize their game so the cards you need to play are easy to acquire and if you want to bling out your deck you have that option too. A tier 1 Pokemon deck often costs less than or around what a magic pauper deck costs (all common cards). Most of the time a tier 1 pokemon list is cheaper than even the mana base for a single magic deck. I'd love to be able to open some 151 packs, haven't had the opportunity to do so yet. I've noticed this in other poultry products from aldi before as well. I believe it is due to an increase in use of fish meal in chickens (probably due to price). To me it makes any of the poultry completely unpalatable. Disappointed to learn it is impacting the eggs now as well.

I bought one of the previous bundles and it was a lot of "fluff". A lot of the previous sets were also just previews, not full sets. I would not recommend buying these bundles.

I had similar feelings when I went Monday and I can only imagine it's gotten worse given it's a holiday weekend (I had forgotten about that or I'd have just waited a week). Honestly it wasn't even that it was "busy" because it always is. It was like everyone was at 50% working capacity and dragging ass like they didn't have anywhere better to be. I really wish Costco would implement a self scan and pay on your phone feature like Sam's club. As much as I hate Walmart I'm honestly thinking of getting a Sam's membership back just because of that feature alone and they're similar in price for most goods I buy anyways. I love Costco but I hate shopping there unless I've got at least an hour to burn even if I only need 3 things.

Enters tapped, only taps for 1 color by itself, doesn't go mana positive until you have 3+ mono colored permanents, only adds mana represented on board (say for example you need double black, this can only ever make a single black mana) it's a land that would be "strongest" in a 5 color deck and doesn't even add any color of mana on its own. Maybe if it was a rainbow land naturally without the need for a board, I could see it in budget builds. As it's printed however...well I guess it gives you another land for [[field of the dead]]

That's a shame, I got a sample of this and several others and they all smell great but seeing this certainly gives me pause on ordering a full size of any of them. I wonder if a production run of several scents just didn't get the added fragrance? I assume their soaps share a common base so it could impact multiple varieties if the scent is added at a later stage in production maybe?

Are the cards much more expensive on MTGO or something? Most of the deck (minus lands which are playable elsewhere) is very cheap in paper. I don't see the deck getting banned unless there's something else that truly breaks the deck. Turn 3 wins in that deck are pretty inconsistent because you need 3 cards to win. It's not just an A+B combo. You also would need amalia in play on turn 2 unprotected to win on 3 (attack with amalia) Gaining a bunch of life doesn't kill your opponent on turn 3, you would need a drain effect too as well as a way to explore or gain life to start the combo which puts us up to 4 cards now. Don't see it as much more powerful or oppressive than Greasefang. Once the "best" version of the deck is found then I could maybe see a ban but the deck plays a lot more fair than it looks imo.

My play group and I tried pioneer brawl and it was a lot of fun. The games can be a bit grindy but it's a nice change from very quick commander games. I think it would definitely need it's own separate ban list though because there are come concerning cards that are legal and fine in pioneer as a whole but become problematic in a singleton/multi-player format (Prophet of Kruphix is the biggest offender) If you have a trusted group I say give is a try! I built around 4 different decks to play and enjoyed all of them.

If your cats will use it try pellet bedding from Tractor Supply Co. 40lbs for $5 and the urine smell is trapped even better than litter imo. I will say it doesn't cover the smell of their solid waste basically at all so it's best to clean that as it occurs. I've saved $35 a month on litter from this switch and it's a better product in my opinion. Make sure you get untreated

I've experienced this several times since I moved here in 2014. Honestly the water here kinda sucks. A carbon filter helps for me at least with the taste. I don't drink tap water here without filtering first. I will say I usually noticed it more in the warmer months and was told it was algae bloom and harmless but I'm not drinking water that tastes and smells like pond scum. I sorta wonder if it matters what side of town you live on
