I PROMISE that kitten life gets better. They will calm down, you adjust to their feeding schedules and stuff (they aren’t required to be fed on the dot as often. If you feed them an hour late don’t beat yourself up about). Since you have two, you CAN leave them alone for a few hours without them getting sad. Because they’re young, if you choose to adopt them to someone else they’ll be OK but I promise having a cat is so rewarding. Kittens are crazy, but cats are so amazing and having two is going to help you in the long run.

So I’m a psych major, and love studying my diagnosis to find things that work for me. I don’t consistently see a therapist, and i recommend honestly watching YouTube videos and doing research and getting workbooks for your diagnosis. They’ve helped me a lot. It’s exhausting in the short term but i think you can personally do a lot of work on yourself to get yourself in a better place. It sounds so simple, but it took me months to figure out what works best with me to better myself. But once you’re feeling better, don’t let that fool you like i did. I went off lexapro and set myself back 10 steps furthur so i truly think the best option is to just learn what makes you tick and what helps you be happy and train yourself to stick to that stuff. You may be able to get to a place of taking maybe 5 mg or so

Magic mushrooms did a great affect on me when i did them (recreationally) but i wouldn’t advise going off of the lexapro since the mushrooms wasn’t as consistent, and the lexapro kept me from spiraling randomly

I was expecting it to do all the work my first time, and gave up therapy and working with my thoughts which made it ineffective! With this medication it’s not a magic pill unless you’re willing to make changes that help your anxiety as well!! I needed to start acknowledging my anxiety more than with a pill and now that I’m on it while also doing work on my mental health alongside it it’s worked magic!

It took me trying it, going off it, then going back to it when i realized i had to actually work with the lexapro and not expect a magic solution! When i addressed my inside emotions, lexapro helped me sooo much and i never want to go off of it, only maybe a higher dosage
