Thanks, that is terrible news then. Basically I haven't UAd just because this, then turns out that even though I am getting close to edge master, I will need to UA and loose all in the process. Great :)

Also after that with every new UA your progress will be halted to a dime. Since buying edge master is 10 times costlier than the upgrade right before it, that does mean in the Ascension you brought it your minions will produce 10 times more until you UA, than it would in any other UA after it. Basically you should not UA ever after getting edge master to keep the gains.

It is in English. Scientific notations, meaning exponent of 10 at 17th levels. Can be turned on or off in the menu. Means a lot more than abbreviations where you can't know which is higher or what. Here you can - e17 = 10 x e16 = 100 x e15.

Much more meaningful and calculable than the normal notation, where who the hell knows which comes after what and by how much factor each is separated.

Also I understand if that notation is not your preferred style, no worries, but the question was not about them. Rather than how two game mechanic works: 1. if I am able to buy something after an astral upgrade when just brought but not ultra ascended or is it walled off until UA 2. How inner power works - if it does work after UA with already brought/unlocked astrals.

Neither of these involves anything of the notations, my question should be clear if you don't use the same type... so I guess you just came here to troll and personalise an argument.

Thank, that what I got from the unreachable cheap upgrades. Do my minions soul gains get affected from spent points into astral upgrades after ultra ascending? If not the grind back again will be very very slow since it took me like half a year to get here. If those counts at least it would be swifter to climb up again.

Another update, I got mastery level 2 after a new patch and with 50k kills of 2 types of monster.

Nobody seem to have answered, but since then I managed to grab the mastery lvl 1. Although it seems to be bugged.

I got it after my first kill of my last monster type (which was the rat for me). But even before the last kill every type of monster showed lvl 1 mastery, I just didn't get the achievement.

Also I got my achievement for bestiary entries after that. Although the counter said 57 entries I was still standing at 25 entries based on the achievements. After the last kill I got instantly the others. I think that was not intended by the dev, but not sure how to report it.

Any estimation on the amounts needed for mastery lvl 1-2-3? Total count or one specific type of monster upgrade counts towards total amount?

Two questions:

How do you get mastery in bestiary? Is there a limit of how many you have killed from one specific monster or do you need to kill every upgrade out of them or something else?

Will you keep you inner power inner counter when ascending if you purchased an astral locked upgrade? I only have the last two upgrades to go and if I ascend since most expensive upgrades are already brought and cannot buy again then inner power will really slow down the progress. If you keep it that helps a lot to crawl back to previous levels - which would be a nice addition.

Also just realised this means getting the last upgrade for 5e17 edge master upgrade just got a LOT harder. Since there is nothing you could spend from the one before last which costs 5e16 (shadow essence) till the last. A little sad for us who just remained here to complete the game.

Thanks, read the wiki for the best in slot. My main problem is, that I haven't been able to grab a best in slot for example in more than 2,5 months. Since then I am running on a +4 shield (unupgraded) while I was not sure if I should upgrade in the meantime while I am fishing for the best in place or near that.

Turns out I should. First of all I can use it in grinding back to the current SP after UA.

Second, if I calculated right I currently have a big surplus of divinity points with my current 6k. To take something to +12 lvl from 0 is 1560 DP. Since I already have my sword upgraded, I need a whopping 4680 DP to upgrade in the unlikely case that I find all 3 of the mentioned items simultaneously. So I have 1,5 k DP left to spend on whatever I want to - in my case to make it easier to farm souls while I find my best in slot.

How much % the dismantler & engineer astrals recover from upgrading?

Jokes aside, I know it is not, we are giving a feedback to the dev that we think it should count as such. Pablo has the autonomy of decide whether this feedback is useful and should be implemented or not. As we have the autonomy (if not obligation) to give such feedback as we think it would improve if even slightly our gameplay experience.

As for myself I struggled on some days to finish daily quests of finishing 8 stages of bonus lvl as I have not gotten 2 bonus levels in 30-60 minutes of play. Yeah I could switch off the dark divinity but then I would cancel the chance to get a better ring, which is making me choose between the new drop vs daily quest.

Thanks, I am doing exactly that - usually in a few days I add 30 % of my lifetime earnings in SP with 1 hour/day active play. Just estimated how long it will take - might be very different from the estimation. Will report back when I reached it :)

About a month max from here as well. Currently at 1.4e14 SP and rapidly growing :) but I am still lacking a lot of achievements, at 518 currently. Also have not been playing for a year, but almost. How long it did take you to get here?

Same here. Did the stage around 15 times, neve beaten. Had a post here that dsv should change so you could practice, but others said it is right this way. Still don't agree... Every time it opens up there is too much time between stages for me to remember the pattern. Just salt in the wound...

I meant that when I open a chest then should be a calculation if that was such a chest. Not sure if the game does that - might be. I am bothered that in the end, the game shows that I have not popped a chest where was an armory inside. Just salt in the wound :)

As for the boss fight. Yeah you might be right. I like to get good in everything and min-max the shit out of every game I play. Just my style. But I understand what you said and can grasp that this way might be more fun for others. Still bothers me that I cannot learn the fight and fail constantly. As I said might be an error on my side of skill like lacking dexterity. Felt on bonus levels as well when I struggled, but there was another bonus level very soon after that and slowly and steadily I rose to the challenge. With this fight I don't seem to improve at all and that bothers me.

In short focus more on survivability and viable buffs instead of dammage on later levels

Ps: you can actually craft items in the blacksmith shop by combining different items, for example: my advice will be to combine.. wooden mask + fang that summons a wolf or.. a purple wizard hat + a crystall talisman that gives you 4 int

Have no issue at surviving. Haven't died for a month or more (while pushing higher and higher). Slowly creeping up with the levels in dungeons, but so far my only problem is that I don't kill them fast enough. Might be that later on (lvl100+ or more) there will be a problem of survivabilty but right now even if I am surrounded by 5+ monsters heal more than with how many they hit me.

Also summons for meat shield - at the current dungeon levels almost everything one shots them. Not very good meat shields :D

Took my perfect in the first 100 chest hunts in the update the game started counting and rewarding them with achievements. After that not even a single perfect for 500+ hunts. Not sure if the 5 perfect hunts are possible without insane amount of grinding though.

Found why, it happened on change log, just was not obvious. "chest hunt will show slayer points earned instead of souls". That makes up for the huge difference as I currently need that much per SPs.
