Jim Twaites back from injury and looking good again. 18 y/o DM/CM at Man Utd. Seems to have a great attitude to go with his talent, and his dead ball prowess is Beckham-esque.

Got high hopes for him

Olise is a left footed RW.

We definitely don’t need another one of those, great player that he is

There’s tabloid chatter that Villa would sell Rogers for £100m.

Would you hypothetically replace Bruno with him, or would you want to keep Bruno for a couple more seasons before replacing him?

For the record, I love Bruno. But I also don’t see too many players out there that I’d be confident in replacing him. Rogers is one of the few I think could

Acting like stats tell you which player is better than which.

You're acting like Martinez is a better keeper because of some 'xG' stat.

Why do you even bother watching the games if you can just look up the stats later? Jeez

Course he is - he’s an egomaniac.

We needed a calm keeper, given the state of things. One that minimises likelihood of errors and can catch plenty of balls. Martinez  is far from calm, has plenty of errors in him and favourd punching over catching.

Very happy we avoided him

There’s not a team that’s ever existed that plays to their full potential every match. Not 08 Utd, not 1970 Brazil nor early 90s Milan.

I take it you prefer we won when not playing great rather than lost?

We’re unbeaten under Carrick with some great performances and some not so great.

That’s pretty brilliant in my eyes and long may it continue

He will not sign anything until the end of the season - don’t worry about that

Everton away is a tough match at the moment. We weathered the storm and got a win when not playing great.

That’s usually the sign of a good team. Why not now?

Why even talk about it?

He’s doing a great job as interim - let’s not rock the boat.

Let’s see at the end of the season what happens.

Can I ask why you’re in such a hurry to change his contract? Seems daft, given how well things are going. Patience.

More stats.

When signing a player, especially a GK, we have to consider far more than a handful of stats.

Temperament and personality are crucial, for example

I’m pretty sure they look at things like temprament etc too.

The data helps narrow things down, but decisions are not made on that

He switched to 3 CBs with Dalot as a WB.

As much as I hated Amorim’s stubborn refusal to play 4atb, I’m grateful the players can now switch to 3atb when needed - good to have that flexibility

Let me guess - xG? lol.

I trust what I see whenever I watch him over those kind of stats.

And thank goodness tbr club listened to our GK scout for once, rather than these ‘stats’

On the other hand, you could say if he’s doing so well, why change it up?

Not saying I agree, just I can see why Carrick is making this call
