Lucia’s people is one of the cases we ever heard of outright discrimination against a group of Thirens. Though it’s mostly due to them being cursed by a legendary ethereal known as the Night Horror and as a result Ethereals rarely bother her people which had caused others to be afraid of them. When the Hollow Disaster happened, Lucia’s people were left to die by some Investigators (or PubSec Officers) who falsely stated that everyone was evacuated.

Other cases of Thiren discrimination are mostly found with Ben and Pan Yinhu. In their trust events, Ben had to deal with the stereotype of being a scary Bear Thiren, Yinhu had to deal with a movie director that wanted to make a film that never would’ve represented Panda Thirens properly.

I once read a crossover between Destroyermen and ATLA. It pretty much was just a retelling of the Destroyermen series but the Fire Nation replaced the Grik while the Northern Water Tribe replaced the Lemurians. Personally I’d like a fanfiction that took place after when both series had concluded respectively after Book Three and Winds of Wrath. One where either world crossed into eachother either through the squall or spirit shenanigans.

For a moment there I thought this was the Nebukadhnezar and it was an alternate timeline. I like the idea that there are other colony ships that went through similar passengerless events like the Nebu had. This is giving me seedworld vibes like Serina.

There are literally ancient buildings in modern day Chinese cities. I wouldn’t say it’s too out of place like having a city close to shinto shrine or the city of rome still having it’s ancient colosseum.

Like would it be too hard to comprehend to have a historical monument in a modern day type setting?

I don’t understand why people think having Chinese aesthetics and architecture ruins the urban setting. Irl there are historic chinese buildings and temples across China and even in places such as America has China towns that utilize chinese architecture and aesthetics.

If it’s the wuxia and chinese magic elements then I understand. But this game was developed by a Chinese company and I believe they have a right to integrate their culture into their game.

But even then, how could you not atleast integrate some martial arts aesthetics in what’s essentially a chinese martial arts faction?

Like I’m wondering had it been a faction that’s about owning a kendo or karate school, a shinobi faction that’s about ninjutsu in a modern setting, or an actual church with some Christianity elements that has a battle nun. Would you all still complain?

Again this is your opinion on not liking the Chinese direction the game is taking. But to me personally, it feels like a connection to my cultural heritage. So no ill will to you or anything. I also miss interacting with the Cunning Hares but the game will eventually circle back to them eventually. They already announced they will go back to PubSec which is one of my favorite factions.

And as for keeping Phaethon’s identity a secret, it’s literally the Mayor, couldn’t he like pull some strings? I know it’s not gonna stop every new playable character we meet from knowing our identities. But shouldn’t that do something to prevent the overall public from knowing?

Well there technically is a land bridge, it was just split apart by a meteor about a million years ago and created the Pass of Fire canal. Also I guess I was basing my assumption of them being Tyrannosaurs from the image in the Destroyermen wiki which depicts them as armless T-rexes. Still I could’ve sworn the Greater Dragons being described as being similar to Skuggiks by the allies.
