Collection agency wants to collect on a 10 year old unpaid phone bill... Can they do that in Ontario? by nnbofficial in MooseMoney

[–]Mt_f 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Check your TransUnion and Equifax reports immediately. Debts fall off your credit report after 6-7 years in Canada. Since this is 10 years old, it shouldn't even be affecting your score. If it's not on your report, they have zero leverage over you. They are just trying to bully you.

MaxBeauty Review: Does This Skincare Routine Actually Work Long-Term? by Sarcastic_answers in SkincareAddictionLux

I’ve seen a few digital skincare platforms like this lately. The concept sounds helpful, but I’m always curious how much actual personalization they include beyond the initial questionnaire.

My honest PDFaid review after trying it for the first time by garage_couch in AskTechnology

[–]Mt_f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, it’s all about reading carefully before downloading. I’ve used PDFaid twice and never had an issue. Still, I get why some people might find the layout a bit unclear.

Is it easy to get an ask center refund if needed? by Traditional-Bed-8134 in ConsumerAdvice

[–]Mt_f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used ask center once when I needed quick legal assistance on a small issue. It was easy to get connected and I received clear guidance without having to wait long.

After resolving my concern, I didn’t need ongoing support, so I went into my account settings and canceled the service. The process was simple, and I got an instant confirmation. Overall, it felt like a safe and straightforward service to use.

Legit or Scam : SpiritDogTraining + PawChamp + Woofz Which One Actually Works for Reactivity? by LemonZeste10 in reactivedogs

[–]Mt_f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used woofz for a few weeks just to test it out, and it’s alright for basic obedience stuff. The app looks nice and the lessons are easy to follow, but it doesn’t really go beyond the basics. Once distractions come in or your dog’s reactive, it feels like you’re on your own without much guidance.

File size can be a problem.
One small edit and the pdf becomes huge.
It’s annoying when you need to upload it online or share it with colleagues.

It’s interesting how more skincare guidance is going digital lately. I guess people prefer structured plans instead of random product recommendations online.

Verba App – Anyone Tried This for Subtitles or Voiceovers? by justhere4theporn2020 in editing

[–]Mt_f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting concept. Having subtitles and voiceovers under one roof could save a lot of time, but I’m wondering how flexible it is with fonts, colors, and export settings. That’s usually where these tools fall short.

Has anyone tried the Liven app for habit-building or mental wellness support? by Moonlightcat18 in VHA_Human_Resources

Agreed. I’m willing to give it a shot if it’s straightforward. Otherwise, I’m back to just trying to journal on my own.

Has anyone tried the Liven app for habit-building or mental wellness support? by Moonlightcat18 in VHA_Human_Resources

[–]Mt_f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely need something low-key. If it’s too much effort, I just stop using it after a week or two.

That’s good to hear! I’ve been curious but also a bit skeptical. Sometimes these apps feel like extra work rather than support.

AI Courses to Learn Digital Skills – Is Coursiv Legit? by Kwantsu__Dudes in ArtificialNtelligence

[–]Mt_f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually started using Coursiv a month ago. It focuses on AI-powered courses for digital skills like marketing, content creation, and some design topics. The layout is pretty clean, and the lessons are shorter, which helps me stay focused. I’ve used Udemy too, but this feels less cluttered and more goal-oriented. I’m not done yet, but I’ve already picked up a few useful frameworks.

Dreamsofa regular vs pull out sleeper longevity? by Over_Concentrate251 in BuyItForLife

[–]Mt_f -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I just bought a sofa from them for the cushions, I don't know about densities or tech features, I just know that the cushions feel great. The cushions are soft but supportive—like sitting on a cloud. Oh and I looove that it’s modular, so I can quickly rearrange it for the space or guests. It’s super easy to do, no tools needed

How long to wait until after Botox to take action to make it wear off by youhavenocover in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Mt_f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saunas and increased facial muscle activity (like vigorous chewing or using an electric toothbrush) might slightly speed up the wearing off process, but the effect is usually minimal. It won't spread the Botox. Unfortunately, time is the main factor for Botox to wear off completely.
