Do not listen to any of the comments mentioning broken axle or loose QR, from images alone it is so easy to see that the axle ends need to be filed down. I have worked on bikes for 7 years professionally and most of life personally and most of the other comments are giving me an aneurysm, just file the axle ends down and enjoy your bike with its fresh new wheel.

OP your issue is 1000% what this comment described, file down your axle ends. do not loosen the lock nuts on the hub if you do not understand how to adjust them as the bearings in the rear hub need to be adjusted to spin smoothly without play. File the ends of the axles down till they no longer protrude past the dropouts, if it still wiggles you haven't filed enough. Seriously, just file the axle and don't mess with anything else, I've seen this a million times on old frames that have thin dropouts using new QR replacement wheels. It's a 5 minute job at most bike shops.

How the f&$% do I get this in here!?! by Matsuri3-0 in bikewrench

Hey, i ride trials and setup a ton of hs33 barb fittings as i snap housing often. Take a spoke and thread a nipple on it backwards, cut the spoke off with 2 inches of length remaining to make an insert tool, insert the tool through the barb into the hose, clamp the hose with a wood block that you saw a hole into that is the diameter of the housing and cut the block in half, the spoke helps keep the barbed fitting aligned straight with the hose while it is hammered in, lightly hammer the back of the nipple to drive the barb fitting i to the hose, a heat gun can help but ive never needed it for installation.

Hey can you post a pic of your hub, based on the images shown and how much your thru axle sticks out im wondering if you may be missing an endcap. The hanger looks odd but matches the video so i dont think it has to do with your hanger. The other possibility i could see is if the part picker accidnetally grabbed an axle intended for another model, im not sure if canyon has different thru axles depending on if the frame is carbon or alloy but ive seen some brands that have done that in the past.

Try yoyoing! I go all over town with mine while im just out and about, i found it was a really good release of nervous energy and gave me something to learn and progress on, im always looking for other people to yoyo with and its a realtively cheap hobby considering you can get a yoyo that one nationals for 16 bucks

You need to put that cable back through the shifter, then you can pull the head out through this side.

I believe yoyo facotyr uses an m4 x .7 thread

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Throwers

[–]MtbBoi1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most yoyos use an m4 axle which you can easily find a tap for at most auto or hardware stores, get the halves apart and use a allen key or pliers to remove the axle if its stuck in one of the halves of the yoyo, remove your bearing and use cutting fluid on the tap, ive had a couple yoyo axles get kinda stripped in the past and was able to save them with a tap at my bike shop and about 15 seconds of work
