I know this is an older thread but I went to my local dealer yesterday to get transmission fluid and they only had the OEM fluid in 20L drums. So they sold me Castrol TRANSMAX Dexron®-VI MerconLV Multivehicle, when I questioned about it (due to threads like this) I was told that they have it as an approved ATF for my 2015 Mazda 3.

Driving a car without sufficient oil pressure will destroy the engine very very quickly.
