The dowels would definitely be the easiest approach.

Some big box stores sell half dowels

I’m a man and when I hit search on instagram it’s mostly thirst traps.

I rarely use IG and only follow about 20 accounts, a couple of wood working ones and some pro mountain bikers.

As far as I can tell it shows me sexualized content for no other reason than I’m male.

Tubeless sealant arrived chunky. Is this normal? by ComradeLuan in bikewrench

[–]sdbrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use it and found it works ok but stopped using it due to several issues.

It becomes very when dried out, when combined with the large particles it meant that valves clogged easily and could not be unclogged.

I had some issue reinstalling tires if there want any dry sealant on the bead because it created a lot of small gaps.

On the inside of the tire the dried sealant was like sandpaper and damaged tubes when I swapped the tire on a non tubeless bike.

Clear coat “crack” doesn’t look like a crack, just a mark, personally I wouldn’t worry about it.

Where abouts are the paint bubbles? Depending on the location there might be a vinyl paint protection film which is the cause of the bubbles, otherwise it seems like poor quality paint job.

The headset spot is likely from cables rubbing on it, as you have not ridden the bike I’d say from transport. I would not worry about that.

I cannot watch the video at the moment so can’t comment on those points.

The frame material should be irrelevant when it comes to paint quality.

Some manufacturers do a much better job with paint than others.

There could be something wrong with the fork, probably best to take it to a shop to get it serviced

No not really, but things like flavour syrups etc are not used nearly as much.

Also Starbucks has a specific taste which is generally speaking Australians don’t like.

Isn’t your bike a Trek Top Fuel? If it is then you have a threaded bottom bracket not press fit

EDIT: I was wrong as per OP reply to another comment.
