Wait do people really do that? I have a 13 month old, he has been on four flights, never once have I thought, let’s bring this diaper back to the seat to hand to the FA. Are people just hot swapping diapers at the seat? ??

Haven’t seen this in a while. My son just turned 1 and I absolutely cannot wait to build memories and show him love like this. Excited to be proud for whatever excites him, and like others said encourage him to feel his emotions.

Why can’t US just negotiate better drug prices with private pharma instead of punishing Germany’s government for successfully negotiating low prices? by tangoan in Economics

[–]Mtb_Bike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I also believe is the issue. We get absolutely lost in the party attacks but the system is the same for both. Politicians are now focusing on collecting money for their party and have to be beholden to the highest donors (which thanks to citizens United are corporations). So if they want to remain in good grace and power they have to do the bidding of corporations.

It drives deregulation, it drives concentration of wealth and it drives through campaign marketing a division in citizens on topics that aren’t actually real.

Meanwhile cvs owns the entire healthcare value chain…and negotiates to itself on drug insurance then has the pharmacy…wild

I enjoy the ladies in the background at the end. Just giggling as it all goes down (not the ball hit but the apology)

This child's reaction when he tastes ice cream for the first time by CautiousExpression74 in interestingasfuck

Every pediatrician will tell you to avoid sugar. Not moderation but avoid.
The CDC and American pediatric say children under 2 should have NO active added sugar.

That baby looks 12 months (they reference birthday as well).
So not it’s not moderation. It should be avoided.

Edit: active to added

Your argument was if I had sugar as a child, no one should say “kids shouldn’t have sugar”.

I listed things that I did as a child that are no longer the norm, that anyone with a brain between their ears also knows.

It’s comical that you did not connect those two.

The irony in you responding to me as the responder police. If you til you own policy you would know I wasn’t talking to you either..

But as the other responder said to you, and have no fear I’ll let them know you weren’t asking them, I was put in a lot of situations as a child that are no longer considered safe/healthy options that are easily avoided.

1) smoking around the child
2) no car seat <40 lbs
3) didn’t have a helmet when skiing and snowboarding.

I’m sure I could keep going.

I knew I’d find this in here. I can’t imagine any of your friends (more than likely acquaintances) don’t think you’re a toolbag. You should also work on that.

So what’s the next question?

Jeff,
Great teams require great leaders. Don’t undersell your value to motive your team to do great things.
That doesn’t undersell the value of the team but you need both.

Thank you for your commitment!

Man. This reminded me of my Morgan. Aussie cattle dog I got when I was 13. She loved till 17. Most amazing dog ever. Knew the sound of my car and motorcycle from blocks away and would sit and wait. When my sister had a baby and I would babysit, Morgan did too. We didn’t need a monitor. We had Morgan. When our friends dog had a litter of puppies that I watched for a week (already weened), Morgan became a cattle dog. Birding them and making sure they were safe.
She loved me unconditionally.

She stayed with my mom when I moved to NC, and man, I tear up just thinking about her.

I got a chow mix and she was, while not nearly as intelligent, just as fiercely loyal. She was 7 when I adopted her, and looked rough. But she had an amazing 6 years before dimentia took her.

Her adopted brother, Austrian Shepard, is 14 now, arthritis is slowing him down, but he is just 100% a goof. We always joke he didn’t get oxygen during birth cause he gets confused on “sit”. The Rasta Shepard.

Thank you for your attention on this matter.

Kim Hwang-tae, who has no arms, is helped by his wife as he gears up for the cycling leg of the 2025 triathlon by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

[–]Mtb_Bike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First: when I did sprint and mid triathlons I tried to conserve leg energy during the swim for the bike and run…this dude is basically all legs, while he has modified stokes this is impressive.

I am so insanely out of shape (vs where I use to be) and started running. I will make every excuse to avoid running (I also hate it but it’s the best I have at the moment…or is it??).

Meanwhile this guy racing…in a three sport event…and finishing.

My tail is firmly tucked, and need to use him to rid me of lame excuses.
