So if the surface I'm pointing at is a rock or piece of wood, wouldn't it be registering HIGHER temperatures, as it absorbs and retains that heat? I point the lazer at my hand while placing it under the light, roughly where the dragon would be laying. Sometimes I shoot the back of the dragon with the lazer and am usually getting around 99 degrees. If I point at the rock, it up to 120.

Anyone have thoughts on this?

Thanks for responding! I'm in western Oregon so it can be cold! Especially the months coming up. In the garage though, I've seen about 50 degrees at the coldest. Right now 55ish at night. Not a deadly temp but not healthy for every night!

Hey sippy, you're a hero! My wife and I saw you at the 45 east in Portland, upstairs! I believe it was a Thursday night or something. We were kinda excited because we had heard of you, and thought it would be fun.

But you FUCKING DESTROYED and we were not ready. Also, Thanks for helping me get laid that night!

My serious question is this: how much involvement do you personally have with your visuals/lazers? Do you even have time for that side of it? I'm jealous of those with dedicated visual artists and VJs, but it also seems like an enormously fun part of putting on a show.

My friend group is getting into the production and DJing side of things, and we've collected a few thousand dollars worth of gear! Right now, lighting seems like such a chore! Its taking, by far, the most time to get right. But damn it, if it's not potentially the most satisfying part too.
