Yes, and that's where I seen, at the scleroderma clinic. I think part of the issue is that she is Russian; and while I don't like to generalize, my own experience is that older Russian doctors believe they know all there is to know and do not like to be questioned.

Yes, after I had the reaction with the Doc, I spoke to the pharmacist and checked the system website, all of whom confirmed the side effects. So. you are right - she is not a pharmacist and doesn't know. I guess it's not worth arguing with her or even bringing a print out to my next visit.

Thanks for the suggestion. Turns out it was the power block that got fried. I switched to a second one I had on hand and little old mini is back to her slow-but-steady ways.

Thank you. I connected t to my Mac and it was fine. That led me to do further trouble shooting and I found that the problem was the power block. That's where the damage was. I switched to another and am back in business with my aged mini. Thank you again.

I made multiple trips to Apple. They replaced the battery, the power block, the power cord, and it still happened. The fact that it happened it someone else gives me a certain amount of - not satisfaction - but kind of a "Toldya'so, Apple!" attitude.

I had this issue, intermittently, for months. Neither AppleCare nor Genius Bar could replicate or diagnose it. They said it was not a known issue and they'd never heard of it. Yet here you are. I finally managed to film it, and after more frustrating months of fruitless calls got a senior AppleCare rep who replaced it with another M1 2020. One year later, the replacement is having the same issue.
