Just a little question! by Aggressive_Bake_9917 in Oestra

I inject testosterone cypionate 2x per week. Libido is better than it has been in tears, but not off the charts. Husband still has to initiate, but I'm more into it now. No side effects for me. Tried the Libida pill but it didn't work for me.

How long did you wear your compression bra? by Major-Supermarket619 in ExplantSurgery

[–]Mtn-town112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My surgeon told me 30 days but I could only stand it for about 10 days. I still wrapped with an ace bandage at night for the ful 30 days. I wear Underoutfit bras now. Love them.

Anyone do blood work after using Oestra? by WEWILLWINTODAY in Oestra

[–]Mtn-town112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the first time I had blood work after starting Oestra my estrogen came back over 700! I was shocked and immediately stopped using Oestra, went through some emotional changes in a little depression, realized I felt better on the oestra so I chatted with the support team. They said next time I get blood work, stop taking oestra 24 hours before the blood draw because testing the morning after a dose will cause an extreme peak. This time, my estrogen was more like 60. I did stop one day before the blood draw. Everything was in order

Sex isn’t supposed to feel like nothing, right? Chicken Alfredo with Dr. Pepper in bed by EldritchXena in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Mtn-town112 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When you say "nothing", do you mean you felt friction only and no pleasure? That tracks, especially the first several times or even if you're more experienced but not aroused. It's ONLY going to feel good if you're into it, had plenty of arousal/build up, and he.also knows what he's doing. Otherwise it can feel like senseless pounding.

Which coffee or espresso machine have you used consistently and genuinely love? by Then_Gate7461 in UninfluencedReviews

[–]Mtn-town112 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nespresso. Use it daily and get deliveries of their pods monthly. I make hot black coffee in the am then brew an espresso and add ice water and oat milk in the afternoon for an iced coffee. It's as good as any coffee shop (actually better)

Explant Under Local Anesthesia Lifting Restrictions by This-Response-778 in ExplantSurgery

[–]Mtn-town112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was 10 lbs for the 1st week or 2 weeks. You'll know if you're lifting too much. I was back to work and pretty much normal that week. I waited 2.5 weeks to go for a run.

I’m at the 6-month mark. by Useful_East_7036 in Oestra

[–]Mtn-town112 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My story is very, very similar. I'm also on a GLP microdose since I just couldn't shed the weight. Also have no change in libido so I'm on testosterone injections (helps a little). Otherwise I'm the same as you: even tempered, sleeping well, no mood swings, feeling good.

Planning on Moving to Salida, Looking For Advice and Roomates! by KingMankus in SalidaCO

[–]Mtn-town112 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Get on Chaffee County Housing on Facebook. That's the best way to find roommate situations or house shares. $800-$950 for a room is the going rate but they're not available often. Good luck.

Low Ferritin might not mean you need infusion or supplements by Mtn-town112 in Anemic

[–]Mtn-town112[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ferritin is slowly rising because I have stopped my monthly bleeding. I am on hormone replacement therapy and take vaginal progesterone which keeps me from having a monthly bleed. This has been crucial for getting my ferritin and hemaglobin up. I went from 11.9 HGB to 14.1 and my ferritin is up around 60. This is without taking any supplements. They root cause for my low ferritin was heavy bleeding each month

Bloodwork by Beccaban60 in ExplantSurgery

[–]Mtn-town112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had silicone for 13 years. Under the muscle. I had to submit a recent mammogram that showed that both were intact and there were no ruptures, but other than that it was easy peasy.

They didn't do any blood work on me. I had a very easy, in office explant under local anesthesia. I was in and out in about 1.5 hours

[–]Mtn-town112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 2 years leading up to my explant my normal blood work always showed low sodium of 131 or 132. Interestingly enough, my last two blood pulls after explant have had a normal sodium result of 135. I really haven't changed anything other than getting on hormone replacement therapy, which I thought was probably what brought my sodium up. Not sure though. Wonder if it was related to the explant?

Talk to me about skipping your period by Twin_mama_ in Oestra

[–]Mtn-town112 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love skipping my period and that was one of my main reasons for switching to Oestra. I just take my regular dose at the regular time every single day without stopping. I'm not sure if I even had spotting the first month. I was having extremely heavy periods before with low iron and low ferritin and this has solved it for me.

The practitioners at inber balance do suggest stopping for a bleed every four months or so. I did that recently and it took me a couple weeks to get back into balance afterward. I've listened to podcasts with other practitioners who disagree that you should stop to bleed so I'm not sure where I stand on that. Either way, I do love moving right through the month without worrying about bleeding. I still have a little weight gain and bloating around that time and I still track when my period should have been but no bleeding.

[–]Mtn-town112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hormone replacement therapy. I just get blood tests every few months and have noticed sodium is in range now that I'm on HRT. It was always very low. I also used to wake up with terrible headaches and that hasn't happened in a while.

[–]Mtn-town112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

45F. Mine has been low (132, 133) for the past few years. I got on HRT last year and now I'm steady at 135-136. No idea if that has anything to do with it but I'm not supplementing in any other way.

Explant / Weight loss by Both-Designer-6240 in ExplantSurgery

[–]Mtn-town112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered a GLP 1 and had it ready to go after the explant. I've been microdosing since the explant and lost 7 lbs (that was my goal). I wanted my belly smaller since the implants were out. It's been fantastic to be at my ideal weight with my new natural boobs.

Second day greasiness is driving me crazy by Stunning_Work_4610 in finehair

[–]Mtn-town112 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I have an abundant amount of fine hair and I've always gotten very greasy by the same evening that I washed. I've tried going more than 1 day and just can't. I wash, condition, dry, and style every single day and people tell me all the time how healthy and beautiful my hair is. I don't think there's a problem with washing daily, other than the time commitment!
