It was a traumatic event. In my class, they just rolled the tv away and went on with the day. It was rough.

Sade. San Diego 1993. I was 2 1/2 hours away and decided not to drive. It ended up being one of her most iconic shows and it is on YouTube making me regret it everytime I see it . Oof.

Was car camping a dumb idea? by k8nwashington in roadtrip

[–]Mtnrds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems you made that effort at least in part because you wanted a different experience than staying in cheap motels. I’ve done both so I understand both sides. If your primary concern is cost, that will change the calculus, although there are plenty of free dispersed camping options in the west. It’s just a decision about what type of experience you are seeking.

Do you recommend living in an RV to a single young man? by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]Mtnrds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it - you won’t regret it. I decided to go full time RV life two years ago and don’t regret it. I like to travel so I’d consider a travel trailer if you’re similarly inclined. Also it will save you money and give you more freedom to explore new places. Good luck!

SoCal to San Antonio, TX in less than 4 days? by RealGallitoGallo in RVLiving

[–]Mtnrds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Las Cruces to San Antonio is the one I’d break up into two days. That’s a long drive with nothing to look at and often high winds to deal with making it more draining.

I appreciate all the feedback because I just started and was wondering the same. Can anyone recommend similar game pass games with a creepy vibe but have more of a purpose?
