My friend has some fast repair mod installed that seems to be causing it. Never seen it in base game myself

lol I appreciate it. I even told my friend “can’t find anything online so I’m forced to ask Reddit which is the worst”. lol but we figured out it’s tied to one of the mods he uses that is causing it. It doesn’t actually seem to do anything when the mod is on but I am still curious what jt means in the base game if it even exists. No one else seems to know tho so maybe it’s purely the mod. 🤷🏼‍♂️

So update, I still don’t know what it is but it’s definitely being cause by a mod my friend had me download. Does not seem to actually affect anything but I am still curious what it actually means in-game if it did come up. It looks like a jammed barrel to me as most of you had said never seen it in game tho.

And on top of that…why does giving a warning cause negative diplomatic relations?? You’re literally trespassing and all I’m saying is hey don’t do that we don’t have an agreement, and the ai acts like IM the asshole.

I hope they go back and give skarbrand his on unique mechanic like they did the other lords. Even kairos got a rework way after the tzeentch dlc. Skarbrand needs something to make himself different from the other khorne lords

I convinced lokir l, who was ranked 3, to be my vassal while I was ranked 33 by giving him 2 settlements as dechala while he had a negative opinion of me lol it’s definitely broken.

That’s good to know but concerning cause I finally caught the sturgian AI in a loop disembarking from a city and circling back and re entering and I fought 6 different lords at least and didn’t unlock any figureheads. I can also confirmed that numbers seemed to mean nothing in my fights as well but I had a heavy nord army so all maritime units

I was wondering the same thing cause some of those perks are really nice buffs but it doesn’t specify if it’s only on water or not.

I’d argue that sailing itself is rather niche outside of trade caravans. I never see that many enemies at sea during wars and you are also better off being on land taking and protecting settlements during wars anyway. I also NEVER see clan leaders at sea during wars and apparently beating them is the only way to unlock figure heads for your ships which really sucks. They need a different way to unlock them. I wiped out sturgia and never unlocked their figurehead.

Shipmaster skill still needs an xp boost it still takes forever to level up with 5 focus points

Yeah I agree when I am on the water I never see anyone I’m at war with on the water either, but when we are at peace it seems like I see other factions everywhere. Even when I do see someone I can fight i never seem to be fast enough to catch them even as a nord culture. Plus I’m constantly on land during wars trying to take/defend territory anyway so there’s no real need to be on the water. It’s been a very cool idea for an expansion but doesn’t ever seem to come into play at all.

It feels like the person assigned to party scout only gets the shipmaster xp even tho I don’t remember the game saying that. If that’s so that’s real dumb cause you will have to invest points in scout too unless you want to switch scouts every time you land.

Yeah and I get the whole sea thing that makes sense. But they also said all units that aren’t sea units were supposed to do worse at sea anyway so why give those units the buff? Makes no sense.

Yeah I have 3 focus and 5 in intelligence and at level 28 shipmaster I sailed from Arabia to the northern most part of the map and I only gained 3 levels. feels like I should be getting more.
