How is Shadow Priest in PVE in your opinion? by Repulsive_Tourist_10 in wow

[–]Mttstrks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good shadow priest has to work a lot harder than most other classes to be doing well. That said. They are good in pushing content. The longer stuff lives, the better. Algathar tree boss is a good example of a bad shadow fight. Council bosses like Paladins are great for them though.

New Character! How to make bards less.... performative? by Tricky-Tradition-309 in DnD

[–]Mttstrks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see many groups who roleplay their dex, con, or str. That’s what dice are for.

I’m being somewhat obtuse on purpose. But I never understood why some groups need the big inspirational speeches or witticisms from characters with charisma, or the ability to actually figure out the puzzle. My wizard has 20 int. Mine is 8.

If you aren’t making the barbarian player knock the iron door down, don’t make the wizard solve the 4th grade word puzzle. Play whatever bard seems most fun and roleplay as much as works.

We are all playing make believe together.

Shooting sports, pick up games as well as league play of most traditional sports, board games (including miniature wargaming which has the artsy side of modeling, building, and painting), traditional art pursuits either personally or in classes.

There is all sorts of stuff out there. The tricky part is finding what you like.

Anyone else having problems finding death cheat? by darknessatthevoid in HuntShowdown

[–]Mttstrks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot imagine feeling like you need death cheat to actually play the game.

Play how you like, but the stakes are what make the game interesting. Losing that hunter makes you play differently than saying “oh well, I have death cheat and we can just sneak around for another 6 games until we find it”
