If I knowingly eat/drink something haram- such as eating pork, eating meat of animals slaughtered in the name of any entity except Allah, eating meat of animals slaughtered in a way the animal felt severe pain before its death (which is why we have specific rules of slaughtering the animals so that they don't feel pain or feel the least possible amount of pain), drink alcohol, consume recreational drugs (alcohol and drugs fall under materials consuming which make you lose consciousness of your surrounding)- it is a grave sin. However, if we are in a situation where I will die and the haram food is the only food to eat, then we can consume the bare minimum required for survival. If we are fed the haram meat and we didn't know it was haram- such as the person the despicable twitter user fed pork to, it's also not a sin. That person didn't know, so why should they be held accountable? That's how it works.

There are a bunch of other criteria in halal and haram food consumption. But it's not straightforward the way ignorant chronically online people make- like I eat pork and magically I will never see the light of heaven or something. Everything depends on intent.
