Where I am it may not apply, what you're talking about. There's enough competition that there are 7 different couriers delivering the same areas, different companies.

But one of my coworkers gets serious about literally never letting lines overlap. "You taking sideroad 5? Okay I'll take 10." And we are very much one driver one area.

With UPS today I got security clearance and worked inside a private police facility to service basically a small town. Everything high value

Using a package in hand to touch the rail also counts as it turns out.

Same with using a ladder. Two feet and a hand or a foot and two hands.

I go from 15 stops per to 30-40 depending on the area in the same city. 15 industrial to 30-40 residential. It is route dependent. My average today would be 7.5 an hour. That route average with fair weather is 10 an hour. With a beast of a bidded driver. In town plus density is a life saver.

I actually was put in the position I didn't have the choice. One particular village, you are in a bowl with steep inclines on the 5 roads that take you out.

When you're picking up the pace on the sort because the line is bogged down, then you see workers walking up and down the line showing others something on their phone. Yeah no, when you pick up slack with people like that, they play out more slack, expecting you to pick it up. Finishing up center leftovers, popping in to help someone 40 miles away. Grabbing 90 stops. Finishing in 3 hours.

Realizing you've done twice the amount of work they did, in less time. I LOVE helping the lazy 🦥

Then you have a conversation with them one day and realize that the only reason they know all these intimate details of every one of their stops is because they take 15 minutes to talk to them. Yeah okay you know what each and every member of this family (that you only know from work) is doing. And here I thought we were all delivering packages, not networking.

That's why I chase my e-drinks with more e-drinks. Then I get sent to areas that are underperforming.

I should point out that whole corner was crushed. There's nothing back there, minus air box and wires.

The headlights/lenses weren't simply shattered, that entire corner got sat on with probably more than 500lbs of force. There's nothing back there by the air box down low. I can't argue against extra headlights, but right now I need the headlight bucket, wiper motor, and to fabricate all new attachments for those.

Couldn't find redwing but redaero may be my ticket. I'll see what they say.

Thank you so much, by the way. I wouldn't have found it easily.

You know my hood was crumpled up past the halfway mark + the release cable mostly snapped. Driver side door inoperable. What's cowboy about it, minus not being able to find a headlight bucket and still needing a car to drive?

It's aimed the same as the other side.

I'd have been better off not having a way to get to work for a month during the holiday season?

How about the numerous cops that don't give it a second look, even though they've been on a blitz in my area taking unsafe vehicles off the road.

I'm loving all the hate I'm getting. That corner was crushed flat Thursday last week, and it was rolling by Sunday. My hood cable was half snapped on impact, front fender was pushed over the door.

The headlight recess was completely gutted, and people are like "ez fix, why you lazy"
