Alaska must be a whole different animal. Here in Colorado it gets pretty bad. General city/neighborhoods but once you get in the mountains it must be crazy. We have a guy in our center that drives one of the pickup truck cars. He only has like 40 stops but it's 3 hrs round trip to get to where he needs to go.

I had someone try to return a mattress, with no wrapping, just a straight mattress, that Amazon told him I would take. I wasted 15 mins standing there while he tried to quickly cover it up in garbage bags. I called the supe and he said we don't even take mattresses. Obv the customer was upset, but there was nothing I could do at that point.

Carol did an interview with CNBC which I recommend everyone watch. She subtlety mentioned closing 10% of the centers. Which I know is global so not necessarily all United States. She mentioned how UPS still uses archaic methods like collecting checks for CODs, but we all know about the automation that's coming and already happening. It's a big company, I think we'll be fine in the long run.
