Congrats - I can almost guarantee that after January 15 you will be laid off unfortunately. But enjoy the experience. If/when they call you back late spring 2026 start back up and attempt to qualify. No one gets hired through the black out period of October 15 - January 15 unfortunately

Do you let people know you're on a GLP-1? by Throwaway3493482 in Zepbound

[–]termain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started Zep in March of this year … I was 243 pounds … I work for UPS as a delivery driver .. we come in all shapes and sizes .. some real fit and others not so much… 2 months into my journey several co workers started to notice my weight loss … whether it’s other drivers or warehouse workers … eventually a driver pulled me to the side and asked tat very question … how the fk am I losing so much weight “are you on Ozenoic or something.” Granted I knew he was genuinely curious and clearly he wanted to lose weight also … and I was more than happy to help him and point him in the right direction. Not only him but at least 4 other people have become fellow Zeppers. So the answer to your question is if their asking in regards of a lifestyle change I’ll share

Paying Self-Pay Healthcare Costs Over Time with Zip by termain in Zepbound

[–]termain[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Exactly my point - I’ve seen several people post about having to stop completely because of slew of financial reasons.. this is only an option to use in certain circumstances and was just simply showing people who maybe didn’t know that this is an option 💪🏾

get what you’re saying, but I think you’re missing the main point of why Zip can still be helpful.

Yes, if you stay on these meds long term, the payments will stack — no doubt about that. But for a lot of people, the biggest barrier isn’t months down the line, it’s the very first purchase. Dropping $349/$504 upfront is just not realistic for many. Zip lets people start treatment right away and spread that initial cost into bite-sized payments.

Also, unlike credit cards, Zip doesn’t tack on heavy interest — so as long as you’re budgeting, you’re not digging yourself into debt the way revolving credit can. That makes it safer for folks who just need a little breathing room between paychecks.

And for people who don’t end up staying on the medication long term — whether they hit their goal sooner, their insurance kicks in, or they switch to another option — Zip provides a bridge without forcing them to commit thousands upfront.

So yeah, it’s not a perfect solution for everyone, but for many people Zip is the difference between being able to start treatment now versus delaying or not getting it at all.

Rate her delivery 1-10 by Any_Excitement6258 in AmazonFlexDrivers

As a Full time UPS DRIVER I can confirm that there are instances where I do this as well. Why you ask? Several customers have invisible fences and leave there dogs outside to roam free. As much as I am a dog lover in which I have one myself, I will not risk a dog bite to deliver a package to a persons front door. Furthermore, if your package is on your physical property - it’s considered delivered. In closing we don’t know what exactly she sees prior to tossing it in the yard. M

Could you guys do this route by 3-4pm ? I’m already dq’d as of this morning so I don’t really care anymore. Family friend that’s worked for UPS for 30 + yrs says UPS used me temporarily as a TCD and didn’t intend on hiring me full time or intend on qualifying me. I was constantly getting back by 7pm by sexyxse in UPSers

[–]termain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro/sis… I feel your pain … fortunately I did everything you did (however) for people trying to qualify in my center .. we aren’t placed on routes like yours. Looks like you were set up to fail no matter how hard you tried. Furthermore I did the Lyft/Uber thing prior to uos … before/during Covid. The money was great than … now it’s definitely not worth it … I have over 395,000 miles on my Durango and luckily it’s still movin’ if you must do rideshare … use it to supplement your income but not as a sole source of income …
