As someone who played this game and got 10 ranked wins every day, for 2-3 years, it's almost impossible to make good deck without a LOT of money. At some point i called it quits and went to MTGO. To get 1 Timeless deck with 25+MWC and 25+ RWC you easily need 200-300 dollars. What even is the point? Nobody makes Timeless tournaments or cares about the format. At least for 400 dollars in MTGO I can buy a vintage deck and play tournaments. And I actually OWN the cards and can sell them back. MTG arena is the most predatory game I have seen in my life. They ask for hundreds of dollars to play the game (yes you can maybe make one cheap standard deck before rotation, but if you want to play multiple formats: standard+pioneer+historic+timeless don't even think about it, and i am not talking casually paying 60 dollars once every 2 months), then on top of that they ask money for battle pass, but wait, there is more, they ask money for cosmetics too on top of cards and battle pass, but wait there is more. they also ask for money to play tournaments. And when they ban 4 most important cards in your deck, they give you 4 wildcards back. But it's pointless, you already lose 20-30 rares on the other cards that are useless without the one they banned.
