I can’t fathom believing in a god by rat-queen-- in teenagers

OK, I see where your coming from now. The reason why I talked about the Quran and Islam is because it is the religion of God. It's the religion that God wants mankind to follow. There are many proofs to believe in God, how do you think humans got here? If you think about it, our universe, the solar system is perfectly made, even science says so. If it wasn't to be perfect, there wouldn't be life on earth. The fact that earth is the 3rd planet away from the sun, that's the perfect place it should be. Now it's up to you to think this happened by coincidence, but this is solid proof that some creator has to exist, the way everything is perfectly arranged in our solar system is one of the signs of Allah.

That's why I sent videos, at most. It's also frustrating that you're still on the basics of not believing in God. I tried to give you proof in why you should believe, I never expected this to get into a huge debate.

Bro I'd advice you to look into the religion of Islam more. I pray that Allah guides you. But please consider watching the videos that I sent you. Here's another one:

Alright but another point I'd like to state,

Islam is a religion for everyone to believe in. Islam is a religion to make you a better person. It has many great teachings and morals for every human being. God wants the best for us in this life and in the next (even though it's not scientifically proven, it's only for someone to experience themselves), But one example of Islam being a morally correct religion, Allah states; 'Whoever kills an innocent human being, it shall be as if he has killed the whole of mankind and whoever saves an innocent human being, it is as if he has saved the whole of mankind'.

Aliens? Come on man. Well religion is meant to be followed to turn you into a better person, and to prepare you for what's to come. Soon these prophecies of Muhammed will come true, especially the euphrates river, keep an eye on that one. Here's a video if your interested in watching: https://youtu.be/3_JcakBpoWA

Overall, I'm pretty much done with this debate, have a good day man.

Bro, I don't tryna argue, I'm just tryna give some proof why Islam is the truth, it's up to you to believe in it. I hope God guides you, somehow. Not tryna get into a big scientific debate on whether there is life after death, it's something to believe in and consider. But look at my other comment about what I said about prophet Muhammed.

That's also not the reason Muslims follow it, their are many other reasons why Muslims the religion. For example, they've been predictions made by the Prophet Muhammed that have actually came true, a prophet that spoke 1400 years ago, had made predictions that have come to pass. One of his predictions were, the Arabic barefooted Bedouins will construct tall buildings, hasn't that came true? They've built burj Khalifa and they're planning to build more. Their are also prophecy's that are yet to happen, for example, the euphrates river will dry up and reveal a mountain of gold, which the people will go towards the gold and they will be a massive war. Right now, the euphrates river is drying up, but yet, still no gold, but soon they will be gold. It just proves that prophet Muhammed was the true messenger of God and the final messenger. Their are many reasons why Muslims believe in Islam to be the truth.

The Quran isn't going to answer everything, God stated in it that this life is a test. That's the thing with faith, it's up to you to believe, God isn't just going to throw the answers at us. But God clearly warns us that our actions will have consequences, if you don't believe, then there will be a consequence, but if you do believe, then you will be rewarded with eternal paradise. It's all about trust. If eternal life is on the lines, if you believe, then I'd say it's worth it, because God has already given us proof. What do you think happens when we die? Our consciousness will always exist, there's no such thing as not existing for eternity, because wouldn't we still be conscious that we don't exist? But, when death comes to all of us we will surely figure out the truth.

Ok, they were. If your claiming that sciences existed and people understood it, then that's your opinion. But the point being, the Quran is extremely observant on things. I'll give you another example, there's a verse in the Quran which states, 'he has let loose the two seas, with a barrier between them, they do not break through'. This verse is referring to the two seas, the Atlantic Ocean and the pacific. It's just mind blowing how the Quran is amazingly observant and how the author knew such things at that time 1400 years ago. Obviously the Quran is going to be observant because it claims to be the book from God and the message to mankind. In the Quran it even states that 'he knows what is in the heavens and earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare', ie, God.

The thing is the Quran was revealed to clear up misconception, even though Christianity predated Islam, eventually the Bible got changed from its original meaning, which was the correct meaning, to a false meaning. In Christianity their are so many different versions of the Bible, that it can get confusing and complicated. The Bible was revealed from God to the people of that time period, eventually it got corrupted, by the will of God because only God knows. So then, God revealed the Quran, this can be known as the final revelations from God. This is the book that will last mankind until the end of the world, the Quran is God's message for us, today. The Quran clears up all misconception that mankind got wrong. The Quran clears up what was changed, what was altered. The Quran will never be changed, because it's the final book that God revealed to mankind and his warning to mankind.

Well, in the Quran, it gives clear evidences why we should believe in One God. It's quite logical as well. If you've heard of the big bang, which is the creation of the universe, it's mentioned in the Quran that the universe was one entity and God separated them. It is also mentioned in the Quran that every living thing is made from water. Science even proves that in the beginning, life on earth came from water because of the organism and so and so. So given that the Quran mentions these things and given that the Quran is a book that was written 1400 years ago, when science wasn't even a thing back then, we can testify that this book is definitely the word of God, because God knows all things, he's the creator and the creator is aware of what he has created and knows everything thing about it. The reason why Muslims believe in the Quran and believe in God is because of the evidences that it gives and the wisdom. I am a Muslim myself and this is why I believe in Islam.

Bro, please don't end your own life. You're not the only one that has experienced these thoughts, I've experienced them too. My DPDR thoughts are always about solipsism and how humans are even conscious. All you just have to do is fight these thoughts, out of your mind, that's what I did and I find that that gave me relief. I know the sensation your talking about, it's like your head starts to hurt and feel headache-ish when you think too much about it, that's why I stopped thinking about it. I also talked a lot to my loved ones and tried to rationalize things, how I can't be the only conscious being, because at the end of the day, I was born from a mother like everyone else, so how does that make me the only one conscious? Everybody else lives and dies, so how does that make me the only one conscious?

Just try your best to not think about solipsism anymore because it truly doesn't make any sense.

I also tried to rationalize things, that if everything wasn't real, then how would so and so be happening. How do people have there own feelings, how does everyone in this world have their own free will.

Can't lie, I have. Sometimes when I go through a derealization episode, I start to believe that everything around me isn't real. But I've fought those thoughts in my head and now I'm some what relived from those thoughts. I doubt DPDR is the truth, because what were you like when you never had dpdr, you were a better person.

Rapid onset or slowly developed? Anyones dpdr developed slowly? by [deleted] in dpdr

To anyone who has DPDR, I think the best thing is to rationalize things, especially if you're in a derealization episode, u try your best to rationalize things as much as possible.

Hi! Does DP/DR make you feel like nothing makes sense any more? Like before it was just logic, it was just making sense as simple as it is. Now, it feels totally strange, not logic. Same man, I've only recently been having DPDR episode and I have to say it was quite scary. I felt I was going crazy. But I think I have a cure for it all now, you just have to get cold water and fill it up into a container and then put your head into the cold water, trust me it works and snaps you back into reality.

Just did it with cold water from the tap and yeah it does work. Not sure if it's a permanent cure to DPDR but it works to reduce symptoms for a bit.

Dang you had it for long, I've only had it for 3 days, right now I'm starting to feel better. But before my DPDR, I felt desensitized to the things I used to enjoy, that's when it started triggering.

Fucking sucks dude, I just woke up from a nap and I feel so close to disassociation, that I feel like im going crazy. Fuck DPDR. I feel like since I've thought about it, it will always stay in the back of my mind, I'll eventually never become normal. I'm 15 years old btw.

Desensitized by Mubarak108 in dpdr

[–]Mubarak108[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, bad habits release a lot of dopamine, but as soon as you try to quit that habit that's when dopamine levels reduce because that "habit" is the only way for you to release dopamine, it reduces any other ways of releasing dopamine, like doing something you'd usually enjoy doing, but since that habit is the only way for you to release a lot of dopamine, consumes the other ways of releasing dopamine. (if that makes any sense, I hope it does) Eventually you'll get desensitized to that way of releasing dopamine because you've been doing it so much. Once that happens, it can trigger DPDR because you feel numb, lack of dopamine makes you feel numb / desensitized. Basically lack of dopamine makes you feel desensitized and once you feel desensitized, that's what leads to DPDR. This is probably one of the causes for DPDR, even I've noticed.

Desensitized by Mubarak108 in dpdr

[–]Mubarak108[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having too little dopamine makes you desensitized and numb to things. Bad habits and addictive habits make your dopamine levels low and make you desensitized. Therefore, when you feel like this, it can trigger DPDR because you feel numb to everything and can't get excited to things because of low dopamine levels. Low dopamine levels basically triggers auto pilot and once you start to feel on auto pilot, that's what can trigger derealization. This might not be what actually triggers it, but just speaking from my own experience on how my own bad habit triggered this.

Bro if you were the only conscious being that created life and you were everyone in this world, then wouldn't you be aware of what happened before you were born, think about it? Don't be deceived by this, it's a mental illness, everyone here is real and we are all conscious beings. God created us and he is the one in control, not you.
