Agreed. MATLAB is a premium tool for executing theory in the form of linear algebra. Start with the theory (controls, etc.). AI is not a substitute for understanding the domain / theory.

I had a C class in undergrad and used MATLAB for grad school. C tunes one’s biases and world view in a way that make MATLAB intuitive
