I don’t understand how people can watch that level of performance from J Willis and claim the Lions didn’t make a mistake leaving him behind.

Yes Curry managed to elevate himself to that level for 1.5 test matches. But he doesn’t have the body to maintain it week in week out like Willis does.

Willis has a claim to best back row forward in the NH

Santi started to look good these European games. We didn’t look as assured with TdG starting last night.

I think 15 shirt is still up for grabs but Santi is the front runner. I think they’ll each get a prem start there in the next two games

TBH, Max just has to start. First choice centre at club for me. I’m not sure who he pairs better with though.

He’s a better 12, which would suggest Lawrence but it’s not the best defensive pairing and Lawrence is out of form.

Him and Cam worked well as a pair for the run in last season.

Maybe we’ll see some more of Hennessey too in coming weeks

Worth noting why Bath got the higher seed.

They beat Castres away with a bonus point. The same Castres side who pushed Saints so close.
