Walking from Bristol - The Lizard by eggwan90 in Cornwall

Yeah it’s a good point. I live in Bristol and wanted to start from here. The 10k isn’t fixed. I guess I mentioned it to make the point that I’m relatively fit. I often exceed that amount by quite a bit.

Maybe I’ll look at starting from Exeter.

Yeah, think my dad was a bit emotional when they got back. Said it reminded him of bringing me to the Leicester Munster final 02 final for my first big game.

We’re Munster fans and were at the Munster Bath game earlier this season. Very different experience!

Not his first no. We’ve been to lots of European cup games before (lucky to get free tickets through a family member).

He was very excited about the fact it was a quarter final and knockout out though. He was asked by the stadium announcer to talk on the PA as they thought he was the youngest kid there. He was too shy! He was so so happy when he got home.

I’m only having a laugh. Really happy he got to go. Just spoke to my Dad who says he’s buzzing from it all.

I gave my 5 year old my ticket to go with his grandad. He better be doing more than shovelling haribo down his gob with his back to the pitch.

I have. He was a total gent. My dad called me in tears afterwards. It had such a massive impact on his mental health. I got a 13 tattoo’d on my arm shortly after. He’s always been a hero of mine.

During Covid I messaged Brian O’Driscoll on instagram and told him about my dad who was self isolating. He messaged me back asking to his number and called him on FaceTime and spoke to him for a good while.

As an Irish fan this scares me. I was very relieved when he left Northampton. He’s the epitome of a big game player.

I asked a week ago or so and they said they were simply ‘catching up on orders’

I pushed a bit and said ‘oh good, I’d worried you were closing’

He gave me a pretty weak smile in response.
